You messed up at Shepherd's Bush. You should get the Overground instead of the Underground at Shepherd's Bush. That gets to East London straight away (no need to change, one train that ends at Stratford)

My rule of thumb in any subway system is never stand on the edge and have my back to the wall on that platform as much as possible. Too many crazy people in the world

user-fd7ju5sb6b - If you listened, the cab driver told Ace Boris Johnson is no longer the pm and also mentioned he previously used to be the Mayor of London. Please remember, the guy is not an official tourist guide and is very helpful compared to other cab drivers.
The cab driver meant 'Northern Ireland'........not Ireland, there's a difference, 2 different countries, North is part of the UK, Ireland is it's own country and part of EU.
Yeah, he definitely said northern Ireland first if you pay attention and then I spoke over him the second time
@@ACEDTVL True he did, but then started referring to Northern Ireland as Ireland, which could confuse people. Though a lot of the Irish do consider it the same place, I'm a quarter Northern Irish from my mum and I can claim Irish nationality if I want it. But it's 2 different countries.

Black cabs and taxi drivers are a wealth of knowledge in London. You'll find out so much just talking to them.
The cab drivers who drive Black cabs go through rigorous training and not all who apply make it the first time. I think they have to start all over again if they fail one part of the test. I saw an interview with various drivers a while back and it was very interesting.
The cab driver's knowledge was limited and he spread misinformation. He incorrectly stated that Northern Ireland and Ireland were the same country, that Charles was King of Ireland (which is a republic), and that all Londoners spoke with a cockney accent. He also made false comparisons between the Metropolitan Police and the FBI, and misinformed about the average bill at Nusr-Et (it’s not 15k) and that the richest borough in London was Mayfair when it’s Kensington and Chelsea.
No, he never said anything about other Ireland. We’re just having a conversation he said Northern Ireland first stop acting like you didn’t hear that. I’m the one that said Ireland.

Been to London a few times and twice to the Tikki Bar the Haitian Restaurant, it’s pretty tasty, a fusion of Haitian and Jamaican. Enjoy the rest of your trip!

I'm glad you met the hatian restaurant owner, very good man! A lot of different people go there too, very nice! That subway is loud as hell, indeed. I had another RUclips friend of mine that visited there late last year around the holidays, and he said the subway was very loud as well! That was epic how one of your subscribers ended up helping you on the train and even one of the transit workers! Epic support. But yep, the weather there they'll tell you is very different in their summer. It gets cold quickly there I see. I love this style of editing too ACE! No free rides in London. If you fail to touch at the start and end of your journey they charge you a crazy fine. Make sure you touch your oyster on trains, tube and trams

Hey bro whilst your in London make sure to go to bars etc in Shoreditch & Camden they are the best areas for your viewers to see to have a great vibe and hang out spots in the evening and night. Also Dalston/stoke Newington got decent spots also but Shoreditch & Camden I'd more recommend you'd prefer those areas.
I am British but my dad Jamican he won't class him self as British or black British. You will find Pakistani and Indian people are completely different to Caribbean born British. But Know that Scotland is a Galic country. Ireland is a Gaelic country they are related but not the same and have also got their own languages. Wales also has it's own Language. Galic is related to Gaelic. But not the same very similar. Just respect they are all different. London is the capital city followed by Birmingham Where I live then Manchester. Capital Of Wales is Cardiff, Capital of Scotland is is Edinburgh, Northern Irelands is. Belfast. Ireland is separate from Northern Ireland it's capital is Belfast. I am not a know it all but a mixture of ethnicities and a born here.

I don’t think this information is not hard to know…Minus travel, some people are still misform just because they’re from the states. Knowing Scotland, Wales, are separate countries is easy to research or know.

Dude I’m cracking up at your questions at the beginning no offense. 😂 I’m American but I can tell you England (which is part of the United Kingdom) is about the size of the Whole State of New York. London is just one city in the country of England. London is about the same size as New York City. Like the cabbie was saying the accents change drastically from one city in England to another. This is because for hundreds of years different cities were walled off and protected from each other. This isolation caused them to develop different accents from each other.

However, I live in Fayetteville outside Atlanta, Georgia, US, but I love London & go back every other year to family. No the subway is NOT free lol, but traveling around London can be expensive. Pick up a tube map, that’s free! 😂
When you're 60 and a London resident, you get a free bus and rail pass - its brilliant.

Ace get some chewing gum and ear plugs to diminish the noise. I avoid the tube by taking the bus, l was just there Aug 7-14 and didn't get to the west end which would involve the train. Enjoy 🎉

The place is called the Tower of London, it used to be a place but was turned into a high security prision and later turned into public musemusm to house royal jewells.
