I love the constant use of the pigmask leitmotif. It makes them feel overbearing and their impact omnipresent through the game. Beautifully adding to the themes of the game, as it comes in conflict with the motif of the love theme. God this really is one of the best games ever made, and I am glad someone finally made a video like this for the theme. Keep up the great work, and have a lovely day.
Fun fact about the constant use of the Pigmask Leitmotif: A good chance why it's SO present in every song, is it was used instead of the Love theme during development. The Love theme was added pretty late and thus many songs likely were done before it even existed, and likely the team didn't feel the need to redo them. It inadvertently kind of gives the Pigmasks a very overbearing and constant presence, even before we learn of them. Many people RIGHTFULLY talk endlessly about Mother 64, but I can't help but curious about the development of that game, and how it transitioned from that odd 3D game into what it is now, from the cut sprites we have, it must've really been something else, the Porky crash sprites, the odd "young" Pigmask design, all very interesting.
Mr Batty Twist also belongs here. It also has some slight plot significance as it's the first enemy you fight after the Pigmasks have interfered with the Island (as opposed to the mole cricket you fight in the prologue)
I find this leifmotif really interesting. You get bits of the main theme since the first chapter foreshadowing the main villain but you won't probably relate the leifmotif to the pigmasks until you start getting battles with the piggy guys and piggy something song and finally getting the full picture when His Highness plays
The Pigmasks' letmotif is one of the most impactful I've seen in a game. It usually pokes its corrupting face in situations caused by the Pigmasks or of course during the raids or infiltration of their operations. It gives off a strong military vibe considering they are a form of army, but more menacing given they are the threat. When Porky planned this out, he knew damn well how to be intimidating.
After playing the Bassline of Battle Against the Masked Man over and over I soon learned that it's a Sped up version of the Pigmask motif just the intro part.

It’s like Kirby gcn if it actually released
I think the leitmotif is best implemented in Mecha Drago personally it subtle but very nice
i didn't hear it
@@christmasdespacito2505 it’s in the background of one part in it

It shares a leitmotif with Porky’s Porkies but not the Pigmask theme

You could also say that it usually... porks? its corrupting face? Eh?
Dude I can't stress enough that your leitmotif playlists are just what I needed thank you so much
No Problem

Yeah, I noticed that after making this video.
The first part of i am porky is from godzilla lmao
What? Hard rain i don't think has the leitmotif
It’s a bit of a stretch, but it has the same first notes as the pigmask theme
Oh wow I just now realized that
