Greetings from Nova Scotia. My friend who smokes just came to stay with me. He lives on a very limited budget so I suggested he roll his own. He bought a can of player tobacco, a box of filtered rolls & a single little top one cigarette at a time to roll them with. I tried using the little gadget but think I wasted about 20 rolls, a lot of tobacco and my time. It chewed the papers & crunched the half filled papers. ..and so I began looking at videos. I want to express my DEEPEST GRATITUDE for this brilliant, info packed & very enjoyable video. Thank you soooo much! If you should ever read this may I enquire where you purchase your tobacco leaves? I had no idea that was even possible. I am so very impressed.🙏💙💙
Thanks, if i had known it was going to be popular, I would have spent some time making the video. i order my leaves from www.leafonly.com. its really cheap compared to buying tins of tobacco. 5 lbs of leaf (canadian blend Robust) is 69.99 USD plus like 80 shipping, and makes about 1700 cigarettes. I also spay the tobacco with corn mint oil to make menthols which are banned in canada. a coarse tobacco shredder is also reqiured. i run them through it twice for the best chop. it is a bit costly to get set up but all the machines pay for themselves after a very short time. everything is available at leaf only. I have bought leaf from 3 or 4 companies and leaf only seems the best. good luck.

The finisher is better than doing them all by hand but prolly 3 out of 10 cigs I have to close the end by hand because all it did was roll the cig instead of twist it and it was a loose roll at that. It is also messy, shooting tobacco everywhere. I'm Still glad I got it though and the PM3 is the bomb! (yes I'm that old) lol

@@sixpack634 Francisco Fernandez is saying that he is interested in that thing that makes a lot of noise and where he can get it,but Iam also curious to know what’s it called ?
It's called the Mach 1. It's a coarse cut shredder so you gotta run it through twice. Kinda hard to find online without paying ridiculous shipping charges. After 3 years mine is showing signs of wear. The motor overheats now due to wear in the gears and everything else. But I highly recommend this shredder.

They have filters, there are just white instead of brown. I'm not sure if unfiltered tubes are available, and i don't think the machine would work proper with them.
Probably because of progressive Liberal govts. Just order from America if you want anything good. They aren't totally fucked yet. Europe is just as bad as Canada. www.leafonly.com
What brand tubes are you using? Not all have the same size filter which causes the over fill at the end of the cig. Tops, Gambler and Zen all have different length filters but yours seems to be about perfect. Thanks for any info on the tubes.
I use Players smooth, it's a Canadian brand of cig. They are 84mm long and the filter is 24mm long. i like to put a slight pressure on my tube as its injecting the tobacco to ensure it packs all the way to the filter. if i don't do this, it releases the tube a nano second too early. this causes the pre-measured amount of tobacco to be loose near the filter and leaves it hanging out the other end. its kinda a design flaw. if you hold it on a bit, it packs all the tobacco in perfectly.
@Josh R the cost of my cigs is about 5 times less than store bought smokes. i will usually roll about 1000 in a few hours so i don't have to do it very often, there is a bit of a learning curve with figuring out which moisture content is best for rolling. it saves a lot of cash and is more satisfying stripping and shredding leaves and making smokes.
@Josh R oh...well yeah i like the end finisher,i have taken mine apart to clean it once and retighten the screws. i used to get a fair bit of tobacco falling out into the bottom of my pack. this thing just rolls the edge over enough to help this issue. i usually have my tobacco 10 percent moisture which is fairly dry but works well with the machine. its a bit expensive for what it is, you could build one that operates more quietly. it is the 3 plus and i paid 199.99 USD , i don't know what 4 aces is because I'm in canada. i would buy a moisture tester and the machine likes shredded tobacco, not stringy bits.
@@andulica2976 ok, so make sure tube is is perfect shape at end. i hold it like near filter and mid tube. have it tilted so the bottom of the tube goes on first the raise up the filter end so its level and slide it on.
finisher is noisy bat as long as it works. Could mount four mini suction cups to the bottom would work. I'd like to see inside where it folds. Probably be fairly easy to make. Depending on the actual folder.
the end is just a thick plastic ring with a metal pin through the diameter a few mm. from the end. would be easy to build yes. i just tape mine to the table to hold it in place. it is super loud.
@@sixpack634 powermatic 4 is like the powermatic 2 but has a snap on hopper very good machine but slower because you have to tap the tobacco in with your fingers then pull a lever. Your video convinced me I need the powermatic 3 plus. I'll be ordering one soon.
I’m not impressed with mine. If I don’t roll the entire bag when I open it the thing will continuously jam or tell me ‘hopper’. I end up using the old manual crank machine more often. Hopper, hopper, hopper, jam, jam, jam. It’s a 250 dollar brick.
That is shitty. i would guess you either got a lemon or it doesn't like the shred or moisture content of your tobacco. it was a bit of a learning curve to get the right mix but it works perfectly. i have never had a jam or any issues at all. its pretty easy to bring the moisture content up and down, i would buy a moister meter.

Probably because of progressive Liberal govts. Just order from America if you want anything good. They aren't totally fucked yet. Europe is just as bad as Canada.

@@erwinaardejong2193 actually, this wouldn't be hard to build your own. its a pretty simple design.

Was ist das für eine Maschine neben der Powermatic 3?
Yes
Can it do 100s?
It does have a setting for 100s. I always thought those were smaller diameter. But I believe it does 100s.
100's are same diameter as kings@@sixpack634 kings are just a tad shorter.
Can you tell me the name of the device that blocks the cigarette entrance?

Soft tobacco or hard tobacoo
Soft and flexible. Not dry and crunchy
Good afternoon
Golden Harvest about 10 bucks for 5 cartons. Been using them for 10 years.Powermatic 2 plus and powermatic 3
We're did you get the tube crimper, do you have a link for it. Thank you

Thank you so much love your video
Nice video
I cant put The ciggarette paper into The Machines tube, can any1 help
the cig tube doesnt go inside the machine tube, it slips on the outside of it.
@@sixpack634 ik but when i try IT doesent work i mean its squishing
@@andulica2976 ok, so make sure tube is is perfect shape at end. i hold it like near filter and mid tube. have it tilted so the bottom of the tube goes on first the raise up the filter end so its level and slide it on.
@@andulica2976 i made a short vid of how i do it

not sure, but I bet you can order from someone online.
finisher is noisy bat as long as it works. Could mount four mini suction cups to the bottom would work. I'd like to see inside where it folds. Probably be fairly easy to make. Depending on the actual folder.
the end is just a thick plastic ring with a metal pin through the diameter a few mm. from the end. would be easy to build yes. i just tape mine to the table to hold it in place. it is super loud.

i must be bored, i find this exciting.
Why doesn’t anyone smoke these on the review to see if it actually works
I figured most people know how to smoke, but on my other video, I do smoke throughout it while I make cigrits.
37 cigarettes in 4:08 😁
Smoking while dooing, nice.
Also boutht one, will bet you.
you gotta sample the product...
That's fast I have the powermatic 4 takes 2 1/2 hours to make 150.
I'm sure I can do 100 in less than 15 minutes. What is the powermatic 4? I've never heard of it
@@sixpack634 powermatic 4 is like the powermatic 2 but has a snap on hopper very good machine but slower because you have to tap the tobacco in with your fingers then pull a lever. Your video convinced me I need the powermatic 3 plus. I'll be ordering one soon.
Yes the finisher sorry I thought it was a trimmer
Mmm cigrits. Tasty as boss
That's so cool. It's like you are slowly building the gun you will eventually kill yourself with.
Stay tuned!
