Like the fact that it folds for safer storage. Also noticed you can put the driver separate from the light. If you want more heat in the tent. Then you could hang the driver so it sits suspended a foot off the floor against the wall. Or at the table height, for when you have your small seedling pots on it....DIY aluminum back plate which would conduct the heat optional Might help until you get the newly released Spider farmer tent heater. Not suggesting hang off the cable. As the driver has some small holes that you could put some garden wire through and attach to the roof frame top side bar. Got to have a nose around the garage a bit as well watching this.
It being a foldable light is the best feature. Ease of storage. I had thought about lowering the light so the ballast could provide some extra heat, but I just put my heater inside on low and it staying around 76-78F. Thanks for that tip.
@@EasternGrows757 Hi Mark , Thank you for reaching out and for supporting Eastern Grows! My name is Celia, and I’m responsible for marketing with Spider Farmer and coordinating with Eastern Grows. We really appreciate your suggestion regarding the tent heater. We’re excited to share that our new heater model is expected to arrive in our U.S. warehouse in early December. We also hope Eastern Grows can help us showcase this product once it’s available. I’ll be putting in a request with the company for a heater to sponsor his setup-so stay tuned! Thanks again for your interest and support. Best regards, Celia Spider Farmer Marketing Team

looks a lot like my ACI EVO 8 , folding with most of the cabling internal . the new controller gets my vote ,as them old school controllers are not the best , ive got 2 Mars hydro lights with broken dimmers which are exactly the same as the spider farmer ones . Looks good , hope it works well for you 😎 ps does the light work with an app from your phone aswell ?
Yeah it definitely resembles the EVO 8. I just love the zero assembly required as compared to the other lights. I really prefer the new dimmer switch over the old style attached to the ballast myself. As for the app spider farmer is working on an app for the lights, their new smart controller, smart power strip, smart heater and dehumidifier etc. So short answer no but soon.
That's a great deal for that light. Thanks for sharing.
It sure is a good deal.
That light looks awesome
So far I’ve been using that light for 2 months and it puts out half the heat then what my old SE5000 would. This is a huge improvement.
Wow nice
Solid Grow Show Eastern! Have fun with the new toy!! Much Love, Keep Growin'!
ooooh new light
Yep and it’s a big improvement from the SE 5000 that was not foldable.

Thanks not a bad price for the horse power at all . Great video brother 😁👍✌️❤
I think it’s a pretty fair price for this light.

@@EasternGrows757 its good to see improvements & as consumers we all gain from it
Idk if it's just me but I tensed up so bad when u grabbed it by the light rails I've seen people ruin lights by doing that
Yeah, after I went back and watched it, I thought the same thing. Even I kind of cringed a little bit.😂😂
I have that same exact controller on my SE 1200 W that I just got
These new digital controllers are a huge improvement in my opinion.
