the hand V wires on this example, are separate. another arrangement has a continuous hand string so that you can move both hands by one string. the example here let's you move both hands by thumb under 1 leg of the V and finger under the other. same hand could alternately could see-saw the upper T to "walk" the puppet. persons who prefer this arrangement figure the puppet is less likely to use it's hands much while walking... less likely to use it's feet much while talking a gesturing with it's hands
