- Today, In this 16th episode of Iran 2021 series, I am exploring the Zahedan city which is the capital city of Sistan and Baluchistan Province. I am couchsurfing with local Baluchi people and they took me around the city of Zahedan. I heard that Baluchi people are very similar to Indians, which is TRUE. Also, there is and interesting story behind the name of this city which makes it connected to India. Let's explore Zahedan and witness the beauty of the town and Baluchi people. Just to correct the history, Zahedan has never been part of British Indian Empire, which only extended to the parts of Balochistan, which is now province of Pakistan. Baloch are never connected with Indians neither their history, culture, features look like that. Baloch are close to Iranian and their language has similarity with Persian and Kurdish language. Some historians believe that Baloch are originally Kurds and being a nomad people, they migrated western Iran including the areas in Pakistan. When the boundaries were made and claimed by countries, Baloch were divided in three countries Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan. A majority of Baloch lives in Pakistan with nearly 7 million population, Iran 4 million, while in Afghanistan 0.6 million.

BALOCHISTAN is only of Baloch people's. Balochi is language and we are Baloch.
BALOCHISTAN was a country for 200 years before British, and when British went then pakistan army captured it in 1948. BALOCHISTAN was a country for a year and now Pook Army.
Because Baloch people's before doesn't have money, guns, etc to fight with them and throw them back but now Baloch do have and they'll do it in some years then U are welcome in BALOCHISTAN Country.
