Crime, killings, Shootings and murders is out of control in Jamaica. These 70s laws cannot work against regular citizens much less criminals. Politicians are against modernizing these laws because the importation of illegals guns and ammunition started with politics of the 70s and 80s. Now criminals are using the same systems to import their own illegal guns and turning Jamaica into the wild wild west. Will Dr. Horace Chang be the minister of national security who finally set up proper legislative laws against all gun crimes and set proper security for the wharf, airports, seas and ports? There is already too many guns in the hands of criminals and there is no proper respected laws to deter anyone from going into a life of crime. The police and military needs to step up their operations to rid the country of as many guns as possible and patiently wait for Dr. Horace to present proper amendments to public safety, guns and ammunition crimes, the length of time criminals remain behind bars and a system to detect guns at the ports, seas, wharf and airports. Make Jamaica safe again.
