one of the creators here: The dark Timeline is a Timeline in which the Husnok were were the main power in the galaxy at the time. They ruled tyrannically and harshly. The Husnok This led to the underground development of "The Federation." The Federation in this Timeline were almost identical to the prime timeline federation, where they try to uphold peace and individuality, but have a lot more leniency towards weapon types used, weapons creation, and cloaks. The "Classis Imperialis Terrae" were also slightly more warlike, due to experimentation by the Husnok into temporal technology, which altered the past of several species. The other species under the Husnok was allowed to travel and create their own ships. The Dark Federation continued to grow in numbers until most species were united, besides a few hostile races like the borg. Even the founders, breen, cardassians and all other Dominion species (who had their own alliance) were allied with the federation against the Husnok. It would take until the mid 25th Century for the Federation and New Dominion alliance to begin their pushback on the Husnok, where they would eventually turn them away by the dawn of the 26th Century. The Dark Federation utilized Isolytic and Resonance fields and weapons for protection. There was no ban on these types of technologies. The same thing could be said about the Temporal tech in the 32nd century. Because of the temporal incursions, the people of earth were slightly more aggressive. They were not at the Terran Empire level though. They did enjoy fighting, but they did not allow it to affect rank or status. You were allowed to fire first if necessary or if it was a perceived threat, but mostly the Dark Federation followed the same "dont fire first" rule. If you did attack a Dark Federation, and if you did somehow manage to survive, or even defeat it, this would give the Dark Federation the permission to totally eradicate your species. Even then, the few species who have attacked Dark Federation vessels were spared their homeworld. Their ship numbers would be cut in half as a warning. During the NX era, the Xindi were almost entirely wiped out until a sphere builder was discovered and it changed the target. In the 26th Century, the sphere builders were about 70% wiped out before they sealed off and retreated back into their dimension. Basically, its just the normal federation, but a bit more aggressive and a lot more lenient on morals, ethics and a lot more open to experimental and destructive weaponry. This is a very rough overview, but if you have any specific questions, I would be more than happy to answer them. If you do use the Dark Timeline, make sure to credit me and send me a link to a video via the email in my about me!

Got another video idea: put all multi-vector assault modes against each other (maybe in a 1v1v1v.../every man for himself mode if BC Remastered has it) or just see what they (all on the same team) can destroy!
Not sure if the Retro has access to the non Dark Timeline version, but the regular Perception class is a beauty all by herself. And it wasn't easy to get the textures right. UV map was all over the place and the colors were inverted. So it was a job to flip them back. But in the end, she came out a beauty. Then Grey and I messed around with the textures a bit and that perfect green hue popped up. It was glorious. Hope the Regular Perception class gets it's time in the limelight. Nothing like a main timeline ship fighting the Dark Timeline.
I appreciate how much love Bridge Commander gets after all these years. As a starship combat simulation nerd, even the vanilla version still holds interest for me after all this time. If they developed an entirely new and updated version of the game that combined more RTS (real time strategy) command elements with the style of OG Bridge Commander, I would be all over it.
I don't know why considering how good Bridge Commander was, that the developers never made any sequels or new versions of this game. I played the original years ago. Many would love to see a modern update to the game with better graphics. There's obviously a market for it.

It's pretty obvious that this dark timeline perception class can easily take out a borg cube, species 8472...... with just its standard Torpedoes and it's phasers. I don't know if it slipped your notice or you were too busy at the time, but just the phasers and the first set of torpedoes lowered the Borg superstructure to something like 25%. That are automatically meant you didn't need to use the zero points torpedoes. Therefore, this ship is truly the beast, because it's Shields can take Blast from species 8472, and dish out tons of punishment to a borg cube, and it's magnitudes of order more powerful in terms of overall strength compared to even something like a Galaxy X class from hell
what exactly is the "Dark timeline"?
Dark Timeline is a pathway to many technologies some consider to be impossible. 😉
@@MisterMarin lol that doesn't really clarify it much. I was thinking of its place in star trek canon. but thanks for the reply 😄

He noticed. That's why he allowed the cube to regenerate so he could fire the torpedo and see how much damage it would do on its own.
