I have a deck I’d love for you to try-it’s super fun and I haven’t seen any other person use it yet. It’s a poliwrath/tentacruel deck Tentacool x2 Tentacruel x2 Psyduck x1 Golduck x1 Poliwag x1 Poliwhirl x1 Poliwrath x1 Poke ball x2 Professor’s Research x2 Misty x2 Sabrina x2 Gio x1 Leaf x1 Potion x1 I’ve had a ton of success with it a lot of times because no one knows what Poliwrath does/bothers to read his ability (counter attack 20 damage). Sometimes Tentacruel takes care of it before I can even get poliwrath up and running (which is what the Misty helps to do). I have Golduck in there because I only have 1 Poliwrath and also that’s faster to get going with tentacruel and sometimes wins the battles very quickly. Overall a super fun deck that I’ve had a really decent win rate with that most don’t know what to do with!
I think I would have gone with either all grass or all fire. Grass has good mutual support (Liligant, Butterfree, Victorybell) and minimal investment/high impact cards (Eggs, the anchor I can’t recall the name of). Fire just hits hard regardless, and you can lean into wherever your hand leads you. Next time you try this challenge, remember that each spot on the bench is especially valuable! I want you to try the most annoying sniper deck with: -Hitmonlee -Greninja -Grapploct You can also mix up Lumineon in there but you will need to put water and fighting energy on your deck.
I liked the challenge! I think if you add 2 extra rules: no ex and only one copy of each card it could be an insteresting deckbuilding / game challenge between streamers
