I have owned many Creeds through the years but these newer ones I’m not so sure about. The Centaurus is nice, I think it’s a decent frag but not hugely groundbreaking and certainly you could achieve a similar scent profile with a multitude of other scents costing a quarter of the price. Delphinus though, not for me. I tried it on in the store and it smelt very astringent with a touch of floral. Walked over to my family who all turned their nose up and said it smelt like I was wearing antibacterial spray. Different scents on different skin profiles of course and I’m sure others will like it.
Ash, I have to disagree. I get the Iris for hours. With Incense throughout heading into vanilla. The smokey aspect makes it masculine on me. It's a great performer. I get 12 hrs on my skin with heavy projection. For an Iris lover, this is a Must-Try. I think its absolutely worth the price.

They’re both listed on Creed’s French site at 235 euros each, which is currently $256 US. I could buy them both right now tax free for less than the pretax cost of one back home at retail…🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
For me, at that price point, the quality & performance has to match something like Amouage's Exceptional Extraits line & Creed aren't even 5% of the way there.

The price of these perfumes on Harrods is $370, but in America they are for $545. I always buy Creed perfumes from outside America because they are much cheaper.

There isn’t a noticeable difference between the older and newer bottles. They smell the exact same and the performance hasn’t changed. These reformulation talking points are rarely accurate.
You can get about 10 bottles of JPG le male elixir (ish) for that price at discounters. Given that the average Joe is just going to smell you, and go either "that smells nice", or not, this is just an absolutely absurd pricing scheme. Makes no sense to me. EDIT: And if we're talking almond, vanilla, Tonka scents, you can get like 50 thousand bottles of Lattafa Khamrah for this price. Really don't know where Creed are going with this.

even if i were a billionaire i would never pay more than 300 dollars for a frangrance and even that is pushing it. my most expensive fragrance is dior sauvage elixir and i love it but even sauvage elixir is a little much.
Delphinus I like better than Centaurus... But it does not last... for this type of money.. this should last for 2 days on your skin.. the opening is great.. but the longevity is worse than Toilette fragrances.
Sadly Creed no longer makes anything that performs. Centaurus is the exception. That tabacco lasts on me all day long and projects moderately. Also smells way better than Delphinus to me.
@@matthewhickey4351 just recently I got Erolfa and Original Vetiver and both smell incredible. Performance on the other hand is so trash. 2 hours is about right. Not even worth half of what they want.
I would never support the brand. I will give it a sniff and if it is to my liking - which with the iris note, totally sounds like so, I will wait for a clone. I am no fool to spend this much at a fragrance house that spreads mendacious information about their own heritage with their only drive being money. And more and more of it.

I got this when it first came out. To me centaurus was quite unpleasant. Delphinus has great performance on me! I love this!

Smells amazing performance is solid also! Strong for about 4-5hrs and then became a skin scent

I ordered a travel size of Aventus Cologne and was highly disappointed in how long it lasts. It's literally gone after an hour or 2.
