- I did 100 kickflips in the Nike SB force 58 and Nike SB Dunks Low. Scufffffffed ahhh video, but it's more so about the point of comparison, which I also stumbled on a bit for the 58's, but nonetheless there's enough I'd imagine to properly guide someone...at least one person. I did lots of skating in these and honestly do prefer the force 58 between the two shit shows of a shoe based not on longevity but based simply on the fact one is c o n sensual, the other..not so much in terms of what occurs with my wallet. It's absurd the way Dunks are kept scarce for profits from what I can gather.

NIKE SB FORE 58 Description Per NIKE:
FEEL THE FUTURE OF CUPSOLE.
The latest and greatest innovation to hit the streets, the Nike SB Force 58 gives you the durability of a cupsole with the flexibility of a vulcanized shoe. Made from canvas and suede and finished with perforations, the whole look is infused with heritage basketball DNA.
Basketball DNA
Suede and canvas are the perfect pairing of durability and breathability. The perforations and Swoosh on the toe are a nod to heritage basketball styles.
New Cupsole
The new design delivers the durability of a cupsole with the flexibility you need to reduce break-in time and maximize skate days. Tri-star shapes on the sole expand and contract for better grip and boardfeel right out of the box.
Secure Fit
A stretchy internal gusset hugs your foot to help keep your shoe on if your laces blow out.
NIKE SB DUNKS LOW PRO ISO Description PER I made it the F Up:
AN ELEVATED SKATE CLASSIC.
Crafted from premium materials, the Nike SB Dunk Low Pro ISO updates a classic skate shoe. A tacky, rubber outsole grips your board, while classic details elevate your look.
Soft leather gives a premium look and feel.
Details are inspired by the DNA of Nike Brand.
Circular tread gives you multidirectional grip.
Exposed foam on the tongue adds a broken-in look and feel.
Padded collar and tongue feel soft and comfortable around your ankles.
Flexible gum rubber outsole with a full cupsole stitch is exceptionally durable.
I got me a pair of these great value dunks (58s) after this vid and I was a little bummed! Feels like you’re pitched forward because the heel is so rigid, it kept jamming my toes into the toe cap. The sole is hard as hell, boy.
“GREAT value dunks” 💀💀💀 Damn, that’s all bad, I luckily didn’t have that issue with the fit of mine, I was able to break em in real quick despite that lack of board feel out the box I kind of had and didn’t feel jammed up toe box wise. Them shits blew out quick on me though, all bad. Do you usually get Dunks? Those are wild to keep in rotation for me if I even wanted to based on the lack of shops around and online availability generally speaking. They again did a little flood and have been since the beginning of the year from what I read so I can often catch them in my size but usually it’s just size 8.5 and below, sometimes 9 🤣🤣 Then the only other option is NopeX but that’s not a real option given the upsell for my size almost any time I peeped them. I rather go through shops or online shops so long as it’s retail price if I was looking for them but that price isn’t acceptable even when not “marked up” 🤣 They didn’t last me that damn long.
I will say I re ran the 100 Kickflips in the Leather Force 58’s and they did wayyyyyy better than the suede, that’s on my ratchet page too BUT that won’t help with your sole toe cap issue you spoke of, and there was some stitching I had to keep an eye on from what I remember even though again it was overall better.
@@cyberinsurgent9910damn maybe it’s a quality control thing to have such different outcomes? I’ve only skated one pair of dunks and I was stoked. But then the inevitable situation of availability vs financial status paradox making me go another route. I have been on the franky vilani new balances because they seem to be on clearance everywhere. Getting them for some Walmart Etnies prices. For me, the formiloli is to cut the elastic tongue straps and lace them up with the springy elastic laces off Amazon. I ain’t bending over to tie mid shoes, too old and broke down lol. New balances are like vans for octogenarians, right up my proverbial alley
Damn I wonder if that’s a quality control issue to have such different outcomes, maybe manufacturing dates / material batches. I might could have acquired expired shoes….. I have only skated one pair of dunks and enjoyed them immensely, however…. The availability / financial status paradox factors heavily. I have been running the franky vilani new balances because for whatever reason I have been able to routinely find them on clearance. Damn near Walmart etnies prices. The program is to cut out the elastic tongue strap and lace them up with the elastic octogenarian laces off amazon. Lord knows I ain’t bending over to tie my shits every time.
They may just not be your speed for sure for sure, everyone’s different overall so the 58’s might just be a no no for your foot, if anything try some on in person if able assuming you even want to risk them again which I wouldn’t 🤣 I’d be surprised if it was just a manufacturing thing with what you described and yeah, the Dunks are actually significantly different and far outlasted these for me. I’m just a bit less picky so I can rock with the 58’s over these but that’s more so on the availability and price, if it wasn’t for those and I had to choose between the two it would be the Dunks.
Hopefully the GLS don’t scam me again and I get these Reissue Nike FC shoes I would have had out by today had they not of smh. Talking about a failed delivery attempt like I don’t have an open gate and doorbell cam showing no one even tried.. They usually offer next day so I went with them over UPS or anyone better and on time with accountability. Now I’m yapping my issues here again 🥲
My biggest issue with the 58's is the sole, I wore through it ridiculously quickly, within like 2 weeks
Yeah they don’t hold up too well at all sadly lmao. In these dunks I’m getting a bump for sure by a week, but it’s still all bad considering the price of them.
I feel the hype is from all the dunk collectors 🤦🏻♂️ that don’t skate and Nike keeps the price high in respect to their own hype.
It’s a more premium shoe. I have pairs that can still skate even when I stop. They last very long.
Unequivocally so. It’s all about hype catering for profit because they know they can. I’ve had several pairs of Nikes less than this as well as other brands that shit on dunks. That hype shit don’t work for me at all, it has the opposite effect to the point I put these off until 1. They landed on my table because they decided to be normal and drop them for shops and shit making them more readily available, and the rising price of other pairs of shoes being $100-110, $5 less🫠🫠 Other than that for my size I was stuck with $160 or more anytime of try to find some before again they did a bigger release. Like dunk hype is one thing but what in the fuck, keep the SB shit for skaters maybe? Lmao. I thought that was the point in SB. Shits super weak.
