I kiss my Lord's feet again for gifting me your channel. Never again will I have to search for a hymn without the hype; just the voice of a soul lifted up in adoration! May God richly bless you and your family.
I've been around music and musicians all my life and I never heard this song done more soulfully. Not only is this a refreshing change from music that has good lyrics but designed primarily to entertain, I'm of the opinion that musical harmony does as much as anything to create social harmony. Well done.
When Jesus asks, What did you do with the gifts I gave you- How did you share them- THIS IS A PHENOMENAL ANSWER! What a blessing to my soul! Thank you young man!
I thought the 'big cathedrals choirs' were best at this traditional Hymn of Praise to God, but now they have a rival! How simply uncontrived and heartfelt - As an Anglican chorister, I bow to talent....God bless
The fuller harmony with three voices on is superbly blended, and doubling the melody is inspired. Francis of Assisi would be impressed. The entering voices made for a great aural dictation exercise. Thank you.
That's because its the way that Jesus wants to be praised. We can tell this by 2 factors. The first is that Jesus said a day is coming when my followers will worship me in spirit and truth. The second is that the Jewish Christians stopped using instruments after Jesus ascended back to Heaven. Its remarkable how fast that tradition changed.
I've had this song stuck in my head all day long, and I love your version of it. Very cool sound and love the words to the song! Thank you for using your talent to the Glory of our King!
Truly beautiful. Someone said that music was a creation of God. All music is for worship. It is what we sing about and to who, that shows who we worship. No mistaking here. 💛
Was searching for a good choral version of this hymn and clicked here 99% sure it wasn't my kind of thing... but I was sold by the second verse. Beautifully done. Thanks!
Very nice in acapella. Something different and very beautiful...voice and words. It's so nice to hear the old hymns in a different, magnificent rendition. I have enjoyed this much more.
So beautifully sung, we all need to give Praises to God, at this time of uncertainty with Covid in our midst. Give praise with a good heart. God bless all of you and keep you safe always. 🙏🏽
Thank you for sharing your clear voice. Even my husband, a former Texas Boys Choir member, gave you accolades. So many singers these days add flourishes taking away from the message. Simply powerful.
Thanks, great to sing along to. I just listened to about 10 versions here on youtube, and I think yours is the best. I only wish you'd had access to this verse: "Dear mother earth, who day by day Unfoldest blessings on our way, O praise Him! Alleluia! The flowers and fruits that in thee grow, Let them His glory also show! O praise Him, O praise Him! Alleluia! Alleluia! Alleluia!
+givebirthathome Thank you for your kind words. I am familiar with that verse you mentioned; however, at the time as I was preparing the arrangement, I did not care for the idea of "dear mother earth" (though, by all means, the rest of the verse is great, that God's creation would show His glory) and using only four verses worked better for the way I wrote one vocal for each verse. So, I chose to leave it out.
+TheNCrew EliEli Thanks. The omission jumped out at me, because the 1956 Baptist hymnal my church uses has the mother earth verse as one of the four it selected out of what seems to be Francis of Assissi's original six.
+TheNCrew EliEli "dear mother earth" really looks like new age music preaches. Very good decision to take it out. "Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil." 1 Thessalonians 5.21-22

Hm - well, now you pique my curiosity to try doing that song in a similar fashion. We'll see if something ever comes of it. :-) Thank you for your kind words. I am thankful for what I pray I can give back to honor God - He's given much more.
Had this tune in my head all week but couldn't remember the name. Wound up Googling it and then went to RUclips to find a good version. I truly loved your a cappella version the best. Have you thought of making this version with lyrics? Job well done!
Wow!! That was absolutely beautiful. God has truly gifted you in a mighty way. Do you think you could do that with Be Thou My Vision?? That is my favorite hymn.

Love the song without a bunch of noise in the background... Sounds more praiseworthy to the Lord...
