A lovely young lady, as always. Your and April's videos always brighten my day when I get to see one. All the happy little laughs mixed in with the smiles and creativity are so refreshing in this world of "I just can't take the news channels any more" television. You tube and happy makers are the wave of the future, at least for me. I don't even know what's happening in my area that much any more. I went in town the other day and Walmart was closing at 5pm for something to do with local riots I had not even heard of. Can we build a time machine and go back to the 70's (and take RUclips with us so I can still watch my favorite gals making), please?
I think woodworkers are just curious and capable people. It seems like we dive into something and from that knowledge and strength we are unafraid to dive into something else! My first DIY sector was repairing and building computers, then my car and right now woodworking. Those that can, DO!
How fortunate to find almost everything you needed. Motor looks huge! Glad you had a helmet and you survived the road test. The mini bike must really scoot. Thank You for posting this fun!
That looks like a lot of fun! Caleb's brake cable guide was pretty clever - also it was weird to keep hearing my name, it's not common enough for me to be used to that.
Now this is what one call's good old fashion ingenuity. But then, when one has a shop full of parts and pieces. One will be surprised as to what one can make. Nice Anne nice. Oh and it's good to a gear head.
Neat little bike! Curbside construction is the best way. Funny part is when I ride my no brakes, no lights, 1974 Artic Cat Lynx II it is also with an old yellow open face helmet. 😅
Very cool from another bike mechanic! I too want to hear stories of the bike trip. I will also that as you were working on the bike; I was working along with you and had thoughts/ideas... so always fun. Thanks for sharing!!
Hey @AnneOfAllTrades, great video and I love it the end result. That said, with that clutch spinning so closely to your leg/pants, I'd highly recommend fitting either a plastic or metal guard over / around it. You could end up with some nasty end-results if your clothes (or worse, your body parts) get spun into that clutch assembly/whatnot. Keep on keeping on!
@@AnneofAllTrades love that giggle laugh. Did you inherit it from April or did she get it from you? Or was it a bit of a collaboration? You both have it quite similar at this point.
first thought reading video title: You turned a what into a what now? Took me a second or ten to think; hmm why not. People been using lawn mover engine for all kind of crazy vehicles. Lovely little bike. Would be perfect for driving to the groceries.
I read an article about your first mini bike on Google somewhere. That's literally all my channel is about. Glad you gave it a go, still riding these days?
Any video can be monetized regardless of the length it just receives less revenue. But I only make an average of $26 in revenue from every video anyway so the length doesn’t change that much 🤣🤣
Hey Anne, Cool video and can you do your next video showing you doing an unedited normal speed cold pull start on this mini bike and chainsaw to show how many pulls it takes you to get them started and running?
so now you need to create a trailer for it for hauling cargo. It looks like a lot of fun. Does that helmet date back to when you were little? It just...looks...old

But back in the sixties. It was quite an accomplishment. This was before they put a man on the moon LOL ;-P
I specifically searched this video in the title because of a desire to add a 2700psi power washer motor to a toy jeep whose battery died. I was NOT disappointed ✊🏽🤣
Go build it. Better yet, improve the design. Make the wheels mountable from one side or the other rather than from the front or back. (Just a thought). I want one too, but put the engine in a 24-26 inch bicycle frame. My back and knees won't let me get down that low any more.
@@AnneofAllTrades Maybe if I didn't live in the city were they are illegal. I've realized plenty of my childhood dreams, a mini bike can wait a bit longer.
I lived in Asia much of my young life, went to Uni in Beijing then Taiwan for seminary. My heart is there big time! If only I could be two places at once.
@@AnneofAllTrades That's super tool! Where in Taiwan were you at? Our family moved to US from Taiwan when I was 11. We still visit quite regularly. Where did you go to seminary?
From a pressure washer..... I would be concerned about how much range you can expect..... hoses typically are not very long.
hahahahaha
