I couldnt disagree more with Oli saying that Queen Aminata getting in too much offense was a bad thing and it should have been a 2 minute squash match and debut. The match effectively started to build 3 seperate stars all at once: Aminata put in a GREAT performance against May, both of which are having their Dynamite Debuts, which elevates Aminata and turns peoples heads at how great she could become. May gets the win and the storyline progression which moves her story further, and Deonna Purazzo debuting to a hometown pop was massive and made her look like a huge star right off the bat, especially with her wanting to go for the top gold right away. 3 new faces in the womens division greatly benefitted from the great match that was had, and results afterwards

Seeing bullet club and the acclaimed come out and then having a stare down was my favorite thing about last night. So much story going on in the first 10 minutes
This was something I was hoping they (AEW) would touch on after Wembley that I think they ultimately couldn't because of Cole's injury, I want them to build the insecurity that drove Cole's heel turn- Cole did everything he could to beat MJF (Except hit him with the belt at the end, which they would need to explain away), but MJF pulled his punches and still won. MJF *didn't* hit the tombstone on the table because he couldn't bare to hurt his friend, Cole didn't hesitate to hit MJF with it. Cole drops MJF on the steel steps and almost gets the count out, but MJF gets back in the ring. MJF *didn't* hit Cole with the diamond ring. MJF even gives Cole the "charity" of 5-more minutes, something he denied him previously. MJF's speech after the match was "Hey man it could have gone either way, you could have had it." And that's not true. MJF beat Cole while holding back and Cole was going all out.
I think when Wardlow steps out of line he will be told he was never in the Undisputed Kingdom to start with ..... and boom sneak attack by a returning Kyle O'Riley !!!

I would say to olis point about these guys always losing Brian cage has been getting featured in squash matches on collision (oil says he doesn’t watch collision week to week so that would make sense why he thinks that way) and both Vikingo and Trent have been getting featured on rampage (once again I’m sure Oli isn’t watching that either) so those guys have gotten wins to earn this spot, I know oli is busy and can’t watch everything they do, but if you don’t watch week to week you can’t get mad when people call you out for not having full contex to things regarding the show
The only thing I’m going to say about the continental crown title is everyone shat on the international title when it was first introduced but when orange Cassidy took it over and had a great title defense for 8 months he elevated it to the point where it could believably main event a ppv, if Eddie has consistently great matches with it eventually the title will have prestige built into it and it’ll be something that seems important. It’s the same thing with the nba in season tournament people are mad bc it has no history but you have to give something time for it to actually have history behind it.

I think the best way to do the Wardlow turn is to have it similar to Batista turning on Triple H. He’s beaten Joe for the title and the following Dynamite Cole asks him to hand over the belt. Wardlow gives him a thumbs down and gets beaten up by the U.K. Max comes down for the save followed by the acclaimed. Kyle O’Riley returns and joins Cole and it leads to Blood and Guts.
What I want to see now is the UK going after all these other titles, but the enemies they made keep costing them, the Acclaimed cost Roddy his International title shot, bullett club costs them the ROH titles etc and just have Cole just slowly breakdown because of all the failures

Whilst I hope this is a case of, "guy who's watched wrestling for 30+ years has been conditioned to see bad taste storylines everywhere", some of the things that Saraya & Harley have said makes me think this is the direction of travel, and wrestling does not have a good track record of tasteful lesbian stories. Second, if you took the time to read and comprehend my statement, you would see i didnt do a trashy diatribe on the promo. I am stating that in MY Opinion AEW promos are looked at differently and graded differently by WT than Promos in WWE. The best example i can give is the Nakamura promos, i find interesting and a new take with the comic book animations, which WT calls "fine". Third, i am sorry to disappoint you with my comment. I will try to do better.
