Good morning Mary Ellen, thank you so much for shouting out Lynn’s and my book, The Tasty Nut Shop. We have had so much good feedback from the over 60 crowd. I think women our age want to read stories about our age. I am so sorry you got that ice storm. We got the snow just a few hours north of you. As always you amaze me with your efficiency. I need to order some of your great lamp ideas. We just get so used to having power and water at our fingertips. But considering Mother Nature this past year, and the fires, etc, you have inspired me to sharpen up my emergency supplies. We miss you, your wisdom is always insightful. Hugs, judy
@ thank you, I hope you love the book. We are currently looking for a Netflix series option. Fingers crossed. For most of us older ladies, our third act is a whole new ball game. It’s interesting how the life we think we will have, often is drastically different than what we planned at 20. Thank you again
Oh gracious~ now that's quite the adventure ME, whew! We had an eerily similar ice storm/ winter fiasco in WA State, back in 2008. Being out in the county, in a small golf course community that was built around a lake, we were the very last to be put "back on the grid"~ exactly 3 weeks later, errgghh. Thank goodness we had a large woodstove, so we were able to cook, heat water for bathing, & stay warm, of course. It was still quite the experience, and I surely empathize with you . I've sure been enjoying using my Maysama red light mask these past couple of months, along with their green rooibos serum. Besides my face & neck, I've also begun experimenting with using it on my knees, feet & hands. Too soon to tell of any marked improvement, but I will keep you posted. At the very least, it is quite soothing, & I do feel some increased circulation after use. Now if I could manage to get consistent in using my tretinoin cream again, I'll be on my way. 🙃Samantha in AZ
the other thing i bought was a two burner propane camp stove i was part of the N.Carolina hurricane and it was an eye opener for sure! i am prepared for the next weather event! our area has changed so much and it is heart breaking because so many places are gone and will never come back, roads are still closed. I also use my Mito Red Light panel on my hands ( reynaud's) and I think it helps.
I’ve missed you. I’m glad you and Jim are well. Thank you for remembering the people in NC that are still homeless. I’m about two hours away from the mountains. The weather has been horrible. It’s so cold. Samaritans Purse is a great organization to support as it continues to help the people there. God bless you. ❤
Welcome back!! So great to see you again. My family are in the same corridor as you and they have been dealing with snow, ice, but luckily no outages. Em and family were here and are leaving today. Much love your way! ❤Sandra
You’ve been missed, just this morning I looked at past videos incase I missed you, so happy to see you and you and Jim are doing well, Maryellen you remind me of the pioneer women, strong and finding ways to survive ❤
So happy to see you this morning MaryEllen! I have been thinking about you. Being without power is not fun. I can understand because we have delt with that many times during hurricanes. I am so sorry you are having that pain in your hands. Speaking of gloves, I bought the gloves from your link and love them. We have had weather in the 30s, so when I go for a walk with Danny, I wear them. For a girl from Miami, the 30s is COLD. Such a helpful video. Love you MaryEllen! xoxo
You have some of the best items for a power outage! I’ve never gone that long without power so it’s hard to imagine. I need that memory app but I get so nervous when I have to hurry or things go by too fast. lol love you and I enjoyed this so much!!
I also have Reynauds Disease, and it stinks. It's not as bad as it used to be. I used to have my fingers turn white then black. And the sharp pain was almost unbearable. Now it's just a little bit. Mary Ellen, my daughter who had Ovarian Cancer last March is 16 weeks pregnant with a baby boy! ❤ She had that tumor and Ovary/tube removed and they told her she might need IVF to get pregnant. They said they could start trying at the six month mark in September and she was pregnant in October!!!! God is good! I wanted to share since I'd asked for prayers. If you can, please continue! The woman I watched with dementia broke her hip and can no longer live at home, so in 2 weeks I'm out of a job so I'm going to start making jewelry and soap again! Glad you are back! I always love seeing you! ~lori
Great to see you and learn about your great finds. Maryellen, you are absolutely the most organized "slacker" I've ever encountered!😂 I admire your efficiency and organization skills. Thanks for all your suggestions. Love the lip color!
So wonderful to see you again! And thank you for all of your great suggestions on keeping warm! Looking forward to Spring and I hope your hand feel better very soon🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
We missed you too and I'm so glad to see you! What an ordeal w/ the ice storm, but congratulations on being so well prepared! Things like that force us to take the time to slow down and just "be." The memory app sounds great - of course I already forgot the name of it, so I'll have to go back and check. But I'm glad you're warm again and safe and hopefully no more storms for a while. Take care, my beautiul friend... Blessings and Hugs, Cheryl
Well here comes the sun!! What joy to see and hear your voice! I have endured a lot but 3 days without power and thought of no coffee ( didn’t even think about that) would be unbearable and frightening living alone so scary. So many people enduring great hardships right now it seems so selfish of me to think about coffee. Must not take our blessings for granted. I am going to pray for the healing of your hands Maryellen, I am not familiar with this disease but it sounds like it can be debilitating. Going to be down in description box checking all the links’s from lamps , blankets, Ugg’s and I almost forgot the memory app!! 😊 Love you MaryEllen !!❤
Glad you made it through relatively unscathed with your ice storm. That is so sad you had to take down your pear tree. I am so sorry about your Raynauds. Those sheep inserts are amazing...even for wimpy people in Arizona lol! Mark wears those headlamps for many things...including taking Maggie out at night. Love you my friend. ♥ Elle PS - Just watched the video of your ice storm - oh wow!!!!
Mary , you are so organized . If I am ever in a situation, I would love to be near you 😊. You would have whatever i need . God bless and glad y’all are doing well.
Hi MaryEllen! Good to see your post! I’m sorry you had a power outage, it must of been trying. I can’t imagine the whole town being dark. Good thing you were prepared. Smart to have a charger and chargeable lamps. My husband has flashlights all over the house too. My mother in-law had Reynaud’s disease so I know how painful it can be. Just fill you in on my health saga, I’ve had the pain pump trial and it was successful. My neurologist is ready to do the implant whenever I am ready. There is one snag. Because of my laminectomy and that I have Degenerative Disk Disease the only “virgin’ space is near my tailbone and which makes it difficult. Also, when he puts the needle in and inserts the catheter then removes the needle, if any spinal fluid escapes there’s a chance I could get Meningitis. I’m only 2% concerned about that. I trust my neurologist. He is only one of a few neurologists in this area that is qualified to perform this surgery. I just need to pray about it and give it more thought before I commit. So glad that you were prepared for the ice storm and you and Jim did well. My love, happiness, and kindness to you, Teresa
So nice to see you this morning! I wanted to thank you for your review last month of your Maysama mask. I also have the Omnilux mask. I was never happy with the fact that it didn’t cover my mouth. So when I saw your review, I immediately bought the mask. I totally trust your opinion on things so I was completely comfortable with the purchase. I have been using it every day and I look forward to getting good results. I’m also interested in the red light panel you use. I may buy one of those too. Thank you so much for the time you take to inform us on good products! I always enjoy hearing about what you are currently using. I wish you many blessings in this new year.
Good morning MaryEllen 🌅 I like the chargeable lamps. I have the book, but I haven't started it yet. I don't like to stop reading when I start a book. I got it on your recommendation. If my feet are cold I feel cold all over. I look forward to hearing if the red light helps your hands. It was good to see a new video from you. I enjoy you so much. I hope your February goes well. 💖Jan
So good to see you. Glad your power is back on and you are warm and safe. Maddie Please is an author I like to read, her books are funny and about people our age.
So glad to see you this morning. I have been looking on Sundays and was concerned something might be wrong. It’s wonderful that you made the correct choices in the 1990’s that has helped you and Jim survive the winter of 2025. Having contingency plans are a must these days. Have a blessed Sunday!!!
What a month you’ve had! It appears you handled it like a champ. I hope you have people in your life who can help you sometimes. We all need support. Take care my lovely friend. Connie
You really have had bad weather in your area. Here is northern Illinois so far we haven’t had much snow and only a few weeks of very cold weather. I enjoyed your tips for keeping warm. The AP sounds interesting. Have a nice week🤗😘
Sorry that you & Jim had to live without electricity but it sounds like you were prepared. Enjoy yourself until we’re blessed to see you @ the end of February!!
So good to see you. What a winter we've been gaving in Western PA as well. You are the most prepared person if you lose power!! Great tips for coping with that.
Was wondering where you were at. Glad you are okay. I kept thinking I was missing your videos but checked and was caught up. We have some solar powered things for power outage. We have a solar powered lamp and a couple of flashlights. They both have charging ports for cell phones and stuff. I leave them in our bedroom window seal where it gets sun and it always charged and easy to charge if power goes out. And there is a lot of different gadgets to select from. Hybrid Light is the brand we have. Oh wow I have Raynauds too in my hands. Dont find many people who have this condition.Mine has been worse this year also. I’m thinking I need to go to a rheumatologist because I had some fingers go numb for an hour while indoors and warm water didn’t help. Scared me a bit. I have so many pairs of gloves but I am going to check out some you have suggested. I am so glad Jim and you are okay. And that you are back on RUclips.
Happy to see you this morning Mary Ellen;). Glad you and Jim survived the ice storm. Scary when the power goes out. Thanks for sharing things that helped. We've had below zero weather up here in Northern Illinois. Stayed in a lot. Pups go out for a quick potty break and run back in!!!!!😂😂😂. Sorry to hear about your hand condition:(. Hopefully it will improve. Looking forward to your next video. 😀. See you soon, lots of love❤❤❤
It's so nice to see you and so sorry you lost power. I finally saw snow here in NC after 3 decades of not seeing it.I was so happy as I just love it.I was in South Florida for 48 years and since I left they have had 2 very cold winters. We once went 2 weeks with no power in Fl after a hurricane. It was brutal in the heat.
I live in Florida and have been without power for 10 days after a hurricane. Thank goodness it doesn't get that cold here. And we can have generators for power. Thank you for all of your tips.
We had fairly frequent power outages in Fairbanks, sometimes for days. I’d sit in my warm car and charge my phone that way. We had a word burning insert put into our fireplace and had plenty of wood to stay warm in the living room. I lived through a few ice storms when I lived in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin. Not fun! I should order some of those rechargeable lights. Thanks for the tips! ❤
🥰 Good evening, my friend and Happy New Year, beautiful! Love your Ugg shoe collection and the insert looked so warm and cozy. I had never even heard of that brand until recently when our new to me, Aldi had a dupe, lol. Well, we had an interesting few days here, a tad south of Nawlins, recently. Record Snow Day, Jan 21st, was an experience and a day to remember for sure. Lots of pictures were taken. Today we uncovered all the plants and cleaned up the yard a tad. It will take awhile for it to recoop. I'm so glad y'all are doing well and survived your power outage. Being prepared is always the key and you are always prepared, like I try to be 😉. Always great to see you. Hugs to you and Jim both, take care, 🥰 😘 ☺
Good to see your beautiful face! Rechargable lamps and fans plus a good power booster & power packs are so handy when hurricanes affect our electricity. I have flashlights in my purses, car, and on every table in my apartment. When a hurricane is coming, I make sure everything is fully charged
So happy to see you today!!! Sorry, you had to deal with the ice storm and no power. Growing up in NJ and spending a good part of my adult life in OHIO, I certainly understand ice storms. I can't say I miss them. Here in Austin, we had what Austinites call a snow store which to northerners was a small dusting of snow. Schools closed two days before the storm happened and we were asked to stay off the roads which was laughable. I'm not much of a boot lover but I did buy myself a pair of wool clogs from Stegman which keep my feet toasty. I have been wanting a few chargeable lights and after your story, I will put another must-have in my Amazon cart. Please take care of yourself and Jim. Stay safe and warm!
So glad you made it through your ice storm, 2021 we had no power in the state of Texas for over a week I think, with freezing temps. not fun! We are mostly totally electric, I went through an ice storm in Louisiana years ago, and I had a wood stove there so made it fine. Stay warm! Blessings!
Good morning MaryEllen, it made me so happy to see you had posted a video this morning! I just recently learned that there are 2 different companies - one is uGg with the middle G prominent and one is 'UGG Since 1974'. The second one is the one that uses lambswool. I know I have purchased both brands and didn't realize they were different. Crazy that 2 companies are fighting over the name ugg 😂
Good morning MaryEllen! It was so good to see your video pop up this morning! Wow, you're so organized with all your emergency needs items! It makes me want to prepare better for any upcoming power outage! We don't have gas though, so it might be a bit more of a challenge. Glad to see you and Jim did so well, under the circumstances! 😊 I've missed you and I look forward to next month's video! Many blessings and love, my beautiful friend! ❤
Hello MaryEllen. I'm so glad to hear from you on RUclips. This January has been something hasn't it. We have had temperatures dropping below 0 and snow and sleet that just keeps coming. We tried an escape to Florida and had temperatures sometimes in the 40's and snow in some of the areas!!! Crazy. I'm glad you and Jim survived the worst of it but sorry about your electricity. However, it sounds like you were as prepared as you could be. Anyway, all that to say, good to see you here and we'll wait for the next one. Take care.
I also developed reynaud's ten years ago. I bought Back On Track glove liners. They are a technology first developed for horses, and it is a horse equipment site ( I have horses ) but they do work well. I also use the 'hand warmers' that you put in gloves - I have to go outside to take care of the horses and it isn't fun early in the cold morning!! I lost power for eight days , then the refrigerator went out when the power came on and was without a refrigerator for a whole month due to a scammer repair man and finally buying a new one. I bought an Ecco Power Station and like it alot - because I don't like the noise of a gasoline generator.
Trees and tree branches can’t hold up under heavy ice. It’s scary and can cause a lot of damage. So glad you and Jim were safe and warm during your power outage 😊
Hi Mary Ellen, Sorry to hear about your hands. Glad you survived the ice storm. snow and power outage. We had a power outage the other night for 6 hrs. I can't imagine 3 days. Plus, living in FL we had battery powered lights and a radio. The only thing was because we have been having cold weather here it was getting a little nippy. Still praying for Jim. Have a blessed month.
Hi ME, its so good to see you. Im so glad you & Jimsurvived the storm unscathed. Don't know whats happening with the weather these days. We had a bad electrical storm in Sydney approx 2weeks ago. We were without power & water for two days. The storm damaged the circuitry board for our lift which is still not working & we've had to climb 8 flights of stairs everyday. Fingers crossed it gets fixed this week. One way of getting fit, i guess😊
So glad you made it through the storm. I understand those power outages this summer when we had hurricane Burrell we were without power for five days 98° weather was not fun and I’m in the Houston Texas area and we just experienced 3 inches of snow, which is unheard of us, but we were all safe. The weather is sure getting weird anyway take care of you and Jim. Look forward to seeing you next time and thanks for sharing on all of your power outages finds. Hugs.
It's so very nice to see you again! I just love Sunday mornings having coffee while watching your latest video. I love the ideas you presented today for useful items to help get you through a power outage. I do have a gas water heater and furnace, but they require electricity to turn them on. I'm going to have to check out if I need some kind of adapter. I will be ordering some lights like you showed today. And finally, I, too, have Raynaud's and it is painful and debilitating some days. My mother had it and I started experiencing it years ago. I am fortunate that it has not affected my feet. Yet! I hope this next month is kinder to you and Jim and you experience more temperate weather. Peace.
Being without power is horrible, I'm glad you made it through alright! We've had below 0 temps here this last week but luckily no power outages 🙏 Great items for staying warm and cozy. Your skin looks amazing btw! ❤
Good afternoon! So sorry about the ice storm, they are terrible. Thank you for the mention of the ugz innersoles. My husband has diabetes and neuropathy and is always looking for new insoles. He just mentioned to me that he wanted to find workboots with a soft lining. Voila! My daughter bought me the omnilux for your neck and chest. I noticed the same difference as I’ve noticed in the face. Stay safe in the crazy winter weather.
Happy New Year, Mary Ellen! I’m glad you survived 3 days without power!!! We have a lot of snow, but never lost power. Wishing you and Jim a mild February/March.
Colorado has had a very mild winter which is good on a daily basis but is bad for the ongoing drought. I remember well those Illinois and Mich. winters when we lived there. I love hearing about your favorites, it often gives me ideas for gifts. I too have Raynauds and just this winter have noticed more symptoms, I don't know how I would fare if I were still living in the midwest and experiencing such frigid weather. Stay warm!
Lovely to see you. We've had snow for ages and then a storm with 90 mph winds. Needles to say I don't leave the house apart from Hospital appointments. Sorry about your hands my Multiple sclerosis has the same effect. Can't wear shoes indoors, need to feel the ground. All the gadgets you have perfect. I have a lamp from Temu it's tall and great when we have no power. It happens to us quite often we have two reservoirs about 200 ft away. Something about how they work just quits causing power outage. No water no power, we or I get notifications im on the at risk list. So funny it's after the water stops. And nothing they can do what's the point. We always keep a large jug of water topped up. Love you both keep those hands warm. XxX ❤️❤️❤️ oThe storm still rages on. X
So very happy to see you this morning. Power outages are the worst. I'm in Mass. and in our town we always loose electricity for some reason. Thank you for the reminder of the Mito panel, I sometimes forget about it. I still use my Omnilux in the morning 4 0r 5 days a week. MaryEllen, you have the greatest tips and I follow a lot of them. I never heard of Raynaud's but can see where Mito would help, if I remember I use it on my arthritic knees and it helps..
So happy to see you! Yes, this Midwest weather has been rough, only subzero temps here this time. I'm a slacker too. I need to set up my Mito so all I need is to just sit down! Take care!❤
Oh it is so good to see you! I’m so sorry you were without power for A few days. I have to say, however, that it doesn’t surprise me in the least how prepared you were even though unplanned! Haha. I am going to look at a few of the power packs and I love the little lights! . I’m so sorry your Raynaud’s has flared.. I understand that it can be quite painful. Loved your gloves though! You look really good but I know you’ve had so much on your mind…. Take good care my sweet friend. Sending you love and good thoughts!
I sleep in long underwear instead of pajamas, too. Bless you and Jim. Winter can be scary and dangerous. You were prepared, thankfully. No need to reply. Thanks for the video.
If anyone is prepared for a disaster, it MaryEllen! I've now purchased the book. Love a good book recommendation, especially from someone also from the Midwest. Blessings to my Southern Illinois friend from the Heart of Illinois.
It was nice to see you today. Three days without power, wow, you are a strong woman, MaryEllen. I remember those ice and snow storms. I’m glad it’s over for you. I have the same problem with books. Reading a book in the morning never works out for me, nothing will get done the rest of the day. 😊 Ugg insoles, definitely will be on that. I had no idea they made any. You find the best things to make life easier. The disasters in the country have been devastating. Thank you so much for the donation information. Stay safe and warm. 😊❤
Hi MaryEllen! I can relate to ice & blizzards being from back east. Due to the fires nearby & bc of my awful apt bldg mgr I got a set of indoor fire extinguishers, plus we've had power outages. Heating problems again w/him, recall I had no heat at all for 2 & 1/2 yrs. Ofc he's making me wait all weekend long before anyone comes to repair the thermostat. We are in a grand solar minimum until 2030, weird weather all over the world. No memory problems here so I'll skip the app but ty. Jim must look like a miner w/his light on, cute!! Try gingko biloba for any senior moments, helps w/circulation as well. Son is good but such a long time before his program ends. Praying it is all good for you, Jim & all of your loved ones, you know how much we love you! Happy New Year!!
Morning Mary Ellen. I picked up a 2 pack of rechargeable lamps from Amazon. Saw them on LisaLisaD1 channel. She uses one to paint her nails. I absolutely love them. Great when you need more light anywhere. I never thought about power outages! I lost power 7 days during Beryl. Would have been great to have. So happy to see you and glad your doing well.
So good to see you, ME. I strained to hear you (& I *think* mostly managed) because of the ambient noise in my home with the oxygen machine. (My volume is all the way up on the video & on my desktop.) My hearing is good; the machine is just noisy ~ I can hear it 24/7 from every room in our house. DEFINITELY agree about the sheepskin - insoles, slippers. Cashmere socks. Will look at your links. Blessings! Jackie in upstate NY
Happy to see you today, it's been a crazy January and your video today means the month is almost over! Very helpful video! My daughter lives in southern Indiana and also had power issues and didn't leave her home for about 5 days. We also have power failure night lights that come on when the power goes out, they didn't last the whole time but alerted them to get out the backup lights and heat.
Oh my goodness!! So good to see you. It seems like it's been forever since your last post... because it has been. My senior memory sounds very similar to yours. I include exercises for my mind along with those for my body on a daily basis. Use it or lose it!! Bummer about your power outage. Hope you didn't lose lots of food... especially eggs!
Good seeing. Glad you and Jim are doing well. You are very organized. I am going to to take some of your tips for all those things you used during your outage. HAPPY NEW YEAR🎉🎉🎉🎉
Good Morning Ms Mary!! Happy New Year 🎉❤ So lovely 😍 to see you and hear your voice!! Missed you lots!! It never ceases to amaze me how resourceful you are, always on top of everything ❤ May God continue 🙏🏽 to bless you and your family!! See you next time ❤
Hi MaryEllen! It’s so good to see you. I’ve been watching for a video from you. I’m sorry for all the ice and power issues. The snow storm was headed our direction but missed my area. We had maybe an inch of snow but man I hate this cold. I had severe back pain and discovered I have three compression fractures from Osteoporosis. So glad you and Jim are doing well. I’ve had a few flare ups of Reynauds but nothing too painful. I hope the light therapy continues to help. God bless you and Jim always!❤
So good to see a video from you! Sorry that your power was out for 3 days but impressed with all your battery powered lights, chargers and even a French press for coffee. Looking forward to your next video and keep using the red light for your Raynaud’s an let us know if it helps.
Hi MaryEllen, I hope you had a very nice Christmas and Happy New Year. I am so sorry you had to deal with the ice storm, but it seems like you were well prepared, thank goodness! I love Ugg boots, they are so warm, I know I live in Florida but my feet get cold easily and then my entire body can't warm up. I am with Jim, a cup of coffee makes everything bearable, lol, during the Hurricane, we lost power for 5 days and my son in law's truck has a built-in generator and we were able to make coffee in the morning and it made everything better. I hope your hands and feet feel better soon, I have chronic back pain and I know how annoying pain can be. Sending much love, xoxo
Hi my friend, so good to see you again. I think you’re all set for the next power outage! Lol. I’m exactly like you when I read a book. It’s hard to put it down and if I’m reading in bed at night, I end up staying up way too late because of it and then I suffer the next day because I’m so tired! Cinnamon is keeping me extremely busy… In fact, too busy! All I wanted was a cute little lap dog for companionship, and I ended up with a crazy dog that only rests when she’s sleeping 🤪 I have an appointment to have her spayed the beginning of April so I’m hoping that maybe after that she will calm down a little, but I’m not counting on it. Puppies are a lot of work. In fact I think they are more work than a human baby. I was wondering, did Jim have his surgery yet? Hopefully I didn’t miss it. Well stay warm and I will see you soon. Love you, Dolores. ❤️❤️❤️
Good morning MaryEllen🙏, so sorry January hasn't been nice to you! I feel your pain re power outage. Been there myself. Three days is 3 days too many. I had to look up that condition with your hand. I learned something new. Good to know about. I liked your variety of lamps. I could use one of those. Cute boots. My memory or lack thereof worries me at times...Happy 2025. 🥰
So happy to see you! Was going to suggest the mito for your hands, the m3 level, like u said it can't hurt I have used it on my lower back, hurt it in December, and it worked, I think, was using it every day Hope that was the last winter storm, we were cold over here as well ,for our usual, today the weather is great💖🙃
So good to see you today! Great tips as usual. We missed the thick ice here in the st Louis area but got a lot of sleet and snow. My daughter suffers with Reynauds also. It would be great if you did a video with tips for coping.
i have been thinking about u since patty told us you live in california. i thought u loved in illinois. i am glad u r well. your videos always center me. be well
I 100% agree with donating to B-Strong! I have been too for the last few years as well. They seem to get it right in my opinion. I have donated to both NC and CA in the last couple weeks. Great to see a video from you too. It’s been a while !❤
Hi MaryEllan, l have ahad been in a Ice storm, when we had it, it lasted for 1 week, we had to go to restaurants to eat, but lucky for us, we had a gas fireplace, the only thing we didn't have was hydro, hugsssss ❤❤❤
You are such a resource. I thought I knew a lot of tips, but you beat me...Thank you, sweet Mary Ellen. Can you give links for your rechargeable lamps?
I always enjoy your videos. Please keep us posted on red light therapy and raynauds. My sister has had it for years, and would love to hear if it helps. Thank you.
Wow, you were smart to switch so many things in your home to gas. I have a propane range and propane fireplace. It heats up my house in no time. I have only had power outages for a couple of hours, so no biggie. But I wonder if you can light a propane stove with a match too? Would be great if you were out of power longer. I do have some of those little cans of fuel (forget what they're called). When I lived in FL they got me through 2 weeks of no power after a hurricane with coffee, tea and soup. Hope your hand and feet warm up soon.
Hello! Shew it’s definitely been winter 🥶 this past month. My youngest grand is 6, my daughter thinks she may be showing signs of Reynauds ☹️ when her hands get cold, one finger turns white. She took pictures and plans to discuss with the pediatrician.

I will be buying this book!
@ thank you, I hope you love the book. We are currently looking for a Netflix series option. Fingers crossed. For most of us older ladies, our third act is a whole new ball game. It’s interesting how the life we think we will have, often is drastically different than what we planned at 20. Thank you again
I ordered the hardcover through the link Mary Ellen posted. Looking forward to reading it.
@@barbraluce5706 let me know what you think

I also use my Mito Red Light panel on my hands ( reynaud's) and I think it helps.
I’ve missed you. I’m glad you and Jim are well. Thank you for remembering the people in NC that are still homeless. I’m about two hours away from the mountains. The weather has been horrible. It’s so cold. Samaritans Purse is a great organization to support as it continues to help the people there. God bless you. ❤
🙏😇
Love you MaryEllen! xoxo
Jax Beach for me. Last week was the first time in 12 years I had to scrape my windshield. Wore my down coat almost all day for 3 days.
So good to see you MaryEllen. Glad you and Jim weathered the weather. It is all good. Take care.
~lori
Prayers and God bless you and your daughter
Great to see you and learn about your great finds. Maryellen, you are absolutely the most organized "slacker" I've ever encountered!😂 I admire your efficiency and organization skills. Thanks for all your suggestions. Love the lip color!
So wonderful to see you again! And thank you for all of your great suggestions on keeping warm! Looking forward to Spring and I hope your hand feel better very soon🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
Good morning friend! No power in the Midwest in January is no joke! Stay cozy! ❤
So good to see you! Glad you made it through the wretched weather going across the country! I love your rechargeable lamps, what great preparation! ❤
Love you MaryEllen !!❤
You are missed so much! So good to hear from you and know your surviving the winter!❤
Wishing much success for your massive operation Teresa🤞🏻🙏🏻 Good luck with your recovery too💞🤞🏻 xx
@
Thank you Nicole! You are very sweet. 💕
I've missed you too and appreciate you❤. Very good tips, thankful you were so well prepared and I know Jim was too😊. Prayers for you and Jim 😊
Good morning MaryEllen 🌅
I like the chargeable lamps.
Glad you survived the power outage so comfortably. Thanks for the recommendations.
Happy Sunday MaryEllen 😊I’ve been thinking about you and Jim
Glad you were prepared for the ice storm ❤
What a lovely surprise!! You are the most organized person!! Blessings ❤️
Glad you and Jim survived that power outage. Thankfully you were well prepared.
So good to see you! Im glad you and Jim survived the ice! Stay warm❤
Blessings and hugs sweet friend ❤❤❤
Happy New Year 🎉❤
So lovely 😍 to see you and hear your voice!! Missed you lots!!
It never ceases to amaze me how resourceful you are, always on top of everything ❤
May God continue 🙏🏽 to bless you and your family!! See you next time ❤
Always Happy to see when you post a new video Mary Ann ❤
Hi MaryEllen! It’s so good to see you. I’ve been watching for a video from you. I’m sorry for all the ice and power issues. The snow storm was headed our direction but missed my area. We had maybe an inch of snow but man I hate this cold. I had severe back pain and discovered I have three compression fractures from Osteoporosis.
So glad you and Jim are doing well. I’ve had a few flare ups of Reynauds but nothing too painful. I hope the light therapy continues to help. God bless you and Jim always!❤
Thank you for sharing, this is so helpful. I have missed you and look every Sunday! Wish you well
So good to see a video from you!
They have heated socks and gloves on Amazon
I ordered the thermal underwear. Thank you! I am always freezing. So good to see you!
Glad you andJim survived the winter storm!
I
Hi my friend, so good to see you again. ❤️❤️❤️
Good morning, Mary Ellen….so good to see your beautiful face❣️
TFS I love Elevate. I've been using it for years. I just use the free version and find it's plenty for me.
You are just delightful 🥰 thx for sharing 💕
So happy to see you!
Was going to suggest the mito for your hands, the m3 level, like u said it can't hurt
I have used it on my lower back, hurt it in December, and it worked, I think, was using it every day
Hope that was the last winter storm, we were cold over here as well ,for our usual, today the weather is great💖🙃
I missed you so much! Welcome back!!
So good to see you today! Great tips as usual. We missed the thick ice here in the st Louis area but got a lot of sleet and snow. My daughter suffers with Reynauds also. It would be great if you did a video with tips for coping.
GREAT TO SEE YOU!!!!
i have been thinking about u since patty told us you live in california. i thought u loved in illinois. i am glad u r well. your videos always center me. be well
I 100% agree with donating to B-Strong! I have been too for the last few years as well. They seem to get it right in my opinion. I have donated to both NC and CA in the last couple weeks.
Great to see a video from you too. It’s been a while !❤
I like your rechargeable table lamps.
Hi MaryEllan, l have ahad been in a Ice storm, when we had it, it lasted for 1 week, we had to go to restaurants to eat, but lucky for us, we had a gas fireplace, the only thing we didn't have was hydro, hugsssss ❤❤❤
Great video!! I’m going to try the memory app. I’m 73 and my doctor also thinks my memory is okay, but I feel that I need to work on it.
You are such a resource. I thought I knew a lot of tips, but you beat me...Thank you, sweet Mary Ellen. Can you give links for your rechargeable lamps?
It’s good to see you
I always enjoy your videos.
Love the rechargeable lamps! Where did you find them please?
Cute thumbnail pic!
Hello! Shew it’s definitely been winter 🥶 this past month.
My youngest grand is 6, my daughter thinks she may be showing signs of Reynauds ☹️ when her hands get cold, one finger turns white. She took pictures and plans to discuss with the pediatrician.
