That is not a fair comparison as you feed stereo signal to the mixer and panning left and right. Most probably there is a difference between the left and right sound due to the recording. Instead you should plug Left source to one channel and Right to another channel. Mixed both signal to become Mono signal. Thus you will give full sound information to the left and righ speaker and the bass will be better. By now you can pan left and right to give a fair comparison to each of the speaker.
"DZR sound pretty close more expensive PS15R2" except here in Australia the DZR are actually slightly cheaper, and come with all electronics in the box which means DSP, amp, and all processing and digital time alignment & optimisation of individual drivers.
You fed a stereo signal into the mixer and used the pan knob to select speakers? Money For Nothing has a very asymmetrical stereo image. This isn't a great comparison.
Also, the Yamaha is supposedly 3db louder, so I'm guessing the OP took the Nexo up to the limit, then matched it with the Yamaha without exploring whether it would go louder cleanly or not. With all that headroom, you could EQ the mids/trebs up to the same level as the Nexos if you want...I like a bassier sound, though.
@@casmoviesandmusic i like yamaha dxs18 it's a bandpass design 136db Yamaha dxs18xlf is bassReflex design .... very nice rcf 8004 i like it but cost much more than yamaha .... i think yamaha price sound hadeling is good👌 more then any P.A at the same price
I had the DZRs great speaker but sold them n went back to the DSR 112s....I know its the older version but I think its still the far the better sounding speaker in my honest opinion and it is far more roadworthy than the DZRs in terms of build quality ...Also the DSP on the back is pointless on DZR as I use a desk.
The DZR and DSR HF drivers are almost identical. Just tuned differently. I find the DSR112 can get a bit harsh when pushed. Where the DZR holds together better.
@@damienlobb85 I think it keeps clarity when pushed and dont agree for me the wood cab gives a better resonance than the DZR ...I have owned both and to me the DSR is the better speaker for this and other reasons like road worthy ness and simplicity - less DSP nosense but both are great.

DZR very nice 👌

Nexo tweeter sound quality good
DZR 👍
What is the modification on the DZR315?
It's a 3-way speaker...goes up to 143db, and down to 31hz @ -10db...it's big and heavy, though, and isn't pole-mountable.
Ah, just realised you probably meant the modification mentioned at the start, and typed DZR315 by mistake.

Where is the sub of the PS15R2? I don't see it.
May i know what the model above the yamaha subwoofer? Look like a mini subwoofer?
The DZR series sounds really good, but…their SPL specs are misleading. Almost 20dB off what’s published.
explain plz
Spl is always calculated, real world test using music almost none active speaker gets louder than 125dba measured at 1m, let alone 140…
Hello
I have 2 DZR15, should I put the Level button (behind the speaker) at 0 or + (3, ;6; etc)?
(in the menu, it is at 0db)
Thank you
At 0db it's ok👌
@@bobosonostage7750 Ok thanks :-)
0 db is the unity
listen carefully, the drum premier sounds better on yamaha, it is much more present than on Nexo

I'm buying a pair tomorrow, by the way...just bought some RCF 8004s too...they're louder and deeper than the Yamaha DXS18XLF.

I like the nexo more. But not bad for yamaha
Nexo usually mount B&C components. in this serie, i don't know

Same here, DZR have a flatter respose. But the hf drivers in the dsr line aré justo amazing.

From my phone i can hear Yamaha more warm midd highs. In live, don't know.
