Feels so good to know I am not alone!!!! I’m holding down the home in Louisiana while my husband is in Maine. Little over a year left to go now. Needed this video, thanks. 🙌🙌🙌
I can tell you personally it sucks going through anesthesia school with kids and missing everything
Very insightful. Thank you for making this video. I hope you make one with CRNA who is a mother, because I believe mothers do have slightly different responsibilities and mental burden than a father. For example, a mother who just had a baby may not want to or may not be able to move across the country right after having a baby.
Thanks for the video. It's so encouraging for nurses with families to consider before starting the CRNA journey.
Give it up for the wife holding it down!!!!
Definitely dad of the year
I wish I could find more info/advice for the spouse of someone going through crna school. My husband finished his didactic portion and is now in his 2/5 -3 month rotations before graduating in one year. The first year was incredibly difficult and I was always trying to find info for the spouse home with kids living many states away from him and just some type of encouragement and knowing there is a light at the end of the tunnel, something or just to know im not alone in all of this. It has been the hardest year of my life without a doubt. I have re-watched this multiple times because it really has helped me considering there isnt much else especially from the spouses point of view. It is hard to see the light when youre in the thick of it for sure. thanks for this video for sure and you should totally do one now with him and how they are and WAS IT ALL WORTH IT?!?!?! lol have a good day!
This video is for all the loved ones and spouses out there who have to deal with this crazy stressful 3 years with us.
your videos are informative and insightful. Thanks.
Like the new intro; good job - but it’s only applicable for another couple months, right?!
Great video. One of the largest sources of my apprehension to applying has been the impact on the fam. More to chew on and great conversation starter: “hey, Sweet, watch this video and then let’s talk.”
I can barely get through those without those 😂
Love your videos man! I've been watching you for a the last year while applying to CRNA school. I start in August and currently live about an hour and fifteen minutes away from school. Would you advise moving closer or just commuting? I'm afraid I would miss a lot of time I could use for studying commuting, but it would cost more to relocate. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!
I would relocate but that's just because I hate commuting and to do it for three years every week would be tough and expensive on gas.
What did you end up doing, Tyler? Did you commute or relocate?
What school did you guys go ton?
Yes but it will be hard. Very hard. Nursing school is hard as it is. Relationship will probably suffer
