Angelina has the whole performance mapped out in her mind in complete musical detail before she memorizes the lyrics. Then it is just a matter of execution, and she's got that nailed too.
Im quite sure Angelina knows the lyrics of this song, as she did it at barely 8 years old. No lyricks-support back then. No doubt she even rehearsed it, I guess more than once, with this orcestra for the album, before going in studio. In this case I feel confident she brings the lyrics mainly as a security, even as she in the original audio for this video makes a few small mistake. Of course she want to get it all right for her album recordings. :-)
Add to that that her concentration is every time away from her singing and then back again if she was the whole time fully concentrated on what she was doing.
The amount of character she is able to put into her vocals is just incredible. I just don't think there is anyone else that could match what she does. As the saying goes... Angelina can cover anyone, but nobody could cover Angelina. Everyone should be sure to get the album that this song is on... "It's Magic" is full of great covers and a couple of Angelina's originals. I highly recommend ;)

Only a woman (Angelina is still a pre teen here) can sing a pleading with such an awesome display of tender supplications and persuasive vocal effects. And only Angelina to date could be so convincing at winning her case. I have been listening to many famous male singers parroting that song (from Frank Sinatra and Tom Jones to Chet Baker and Bob Dylan) and I felt that they were all listening to themselves singing instead of trying to mix in their voices at least some elements of sincere despair. May I congratulate you, Schnell, for your continual and vital support and promotion of Angelina.

Her a capella version of this at 8yo on NGT with a row of other contestants just behind her and judges in front demonstrates her fearlessness and, as here, her untouchable vocal prowess!

Those two are an adorable pair. Back to the song, I was afraid if she did another version that it would ruin the earlier one. Stupid me, not only did she not over shadow that earlier effort I gained respect for it. Angelina's such an unearthly talent there is no limit to where she will take this I hope I can live for a few more years so I can watch these young singers become adult singers. These once in a life time performances that are routine are because of her. Otherwise we would see Millions of them, and many from the same, but we don't.
