Okay so... For me to double the production speed of all units and building.. you're telling me I have to clone them ONE BY ONE???? No option to mass clone, only copy. Copying won't set it to override the parent... so what do?
1). How to increase population cap to 300? 2). How to increase spawn speed of villagers? 4). How to increase religious unit heal rate? Can't find any guides on how to do the above.
A lot of trial and error at this point basically. For example I wanted to change the movement speed of some units and found about half a dozen different values to do that. Same for villager resource gathering rates, etc. Not sure about pop cap, but villager spawn speed would either be in the attributes of the villager unit or the town center building, and religious unit heal rate would be in the attributes for each civ's religious unit (not sure if there's a global one).
You probably know how now but if not I can help you with 2 of them 1. Pop limit At the top bar next to burn and build is attributes, click that and a list will come down. Click on "army" then clone the civs you want to modify, once done click on them and then extensions. You'll see population cap, change the 200 to whatever you want 2. Villager spawn time. On epbs clone the villager of the civ you want, extensions, cost, then you'll see how much food it costs, you can change that too, underneath the recourse cost will be time seconds. Change it from 15 to whatever you want
I have to say that I find it extremely disappointing that only one tuning pack can be used at a time. Plugin systems like those operated by Skyrim, or indeed Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition have already been proven - having a merge-load option is hardly cutting edge technology. Essentially having a limit of a single mod per match severely limits the potential of the game and has put the nail in the coffin of my decision to never buy this product, unfortunately. Thanks for making this tutorial for people who may want to make their own tuning packs, but this is a travesty for the longevity of the game, and perhaps the franchise.
@@cyrusol Fair, but this entire system only allows one mod period, as opposed to only one data mod - AoE2 was rife with cosmetic mods and QoL mods that can be used simultaneously. Along with stat changes, tuning packs encompass such cosmetic changes too, like icons and well... That's about it, sadly. It's aggressively limited.
@@rioplats True. What I'm wondering is that they could very well have a system enabling multiple tuning packs. Considering the nature of attribute trees and your mod inheriting from vanilla values... you could just make it that one tuning pack inherits from another, based on the priority you set up.
Does this content editor has the power to add pause functionality into a multiplayer game, connect our walls into other walls or even save/load option during online matches? those are features always present in the past, if those kind of options can't be added, this game will never be better compared to previous aoe titles.
any way to update the mod without closing the game everytime? @age of empires also the english berkshire is not in the building list same for the other one for age 4 also i did some slight adjustment to an existing map and i get alot of red box visual error how to fix this ? the people want a video of you showing where are those option so we can play with them cant find em building range/damage/attack speed/garrisoned range damage attack speed the other things are easily found aka health/health regen/max garrison/armor
i was trying to increase the range of the longbow men and increase there build time and costs the last works but everytime i try it with the weapon thing. Nothing changes and the unite is invisble can anyone help ?
can you do a vid on resources and population changing, doesn't seem to be a lot of guides and the forums are not helpful as i cant edit the things im trying to change
edit: I found the solution: Search for Players in the Scene Tree, expand the Folder and and set the closed Players on open. Keep in mind that you need enough spawns in case you don´t use a spawn territory, otherwise they can spawn on top of each other ( Up to 16 Players are possible)
How can i check the data in player_datasource? or can you tell me how to change the requirement builidng amount for golden age? I really want to change it :D
If "clone override parent settings" is so important, then it should be checked by default
this was fixed with the last update :D

AoE2:DE also only ever allows a single Data Mod.

Why don't you make a create map tool more simple? kind of the same with AoE3's tool.
Some attributes (eg camera) don't let me clone, are we unable to make changes here or is there a way around this?
How do you find how to have an i.e. archer shoot further, keeps to shoot further, etc.? Those ebps folder is not easy to make out.

I can only get two players always for my map, eventhough I created 6 Player Spawns as starting_position_shared_Territory any ideas on how to fix that?

Why does my new tuning pack have NO attributes??
Does it work with Age of empires 1 definitive edition?
No attributes, no options, for ebps spbs or anything else at all. why?
after you make an tuning pack make sure to open the instances
When will be able to edit civs?
How can I do a handicap mode for p1? like previous games..
