Hello Kate. Jim, a NY expat from Madrid (Spain). I just found you in RUclips and after watching a few videos I am hooked (something not easy for me to do). I don't usually post a lot and a follow few artists but you have a way of doing Urban Sketching that has resonated with me... (if you know what I mean). I have been painting and drawing for a while (before as a sporadic Hobby and now a bit more seriously) and I am "new" per say to what today is called "Urban Sketching" (or as it has always been called... "painting outside from real life"). I have learned a different way of Sketching with you today, painting the light pencil sketch before inking, but in a very loose, kind of a "real painting" way and type of feel and I really like it (I've watched Ian Fennelly also, for example and amongst others, and I like him, but I prefer your style better, which us much closer to my own style). So... thank you for sharing and for allowing us and me to learn new and different ways of painting and sketching. You have a NEW subscriber! Cheers from Madrid!!!

What an amazing difference, thank you for sharing those awesome techniques. I like your little black zipper travel case, what brand is it and where did you get it?
I just added all items I use to the description box, and the travel case I use is this one amzn.to/3qgnvJ8. It's quite pricier than something I would usually get. But I got it about 5yrs ago as a treat to myself, and it's held up amazingly well. :)
