I really want to ask you a question, Do you think that there is a lot of difference beetween a 7° dan and a 8° dan or do you think that if you were able to do the 8° dan exam now you would pass it?
Thanks for your question,, @mieterxx0817! 😄8-dan is totally another level. I don't even know how to get to that level. Just have to keep my motivation to train and improve. That's all we can do, isn't it? One of my sensei at the dojo in Japan was 9-dan. He passed away about 30 years ago but I still remember his men strike was a huge wave. I was lucky to have him at the dojo regularly. Totally another level...
@@KendoGuide thank you for the reply, i have another question for you if you don't mind, in One of your old video i saw someone in the comment saying that he Will do the 6th kyu exam, what is the Normality? Cause in my dojo the Sensei made an exam to all the student and almost all of them passed including me from no grade to 4th kyu, so what Is the normal thing that happen? Is It normal to pass 3 kyu grade at once of Just 1 per time? I'm really Sorry for my english but i'm studying It
Thank you very much for this, Sensei! I sure hope you're very well, my friend!!

8 dan is god tier level in kendo. And this is no joke. It is the hardest exam in Japan and only 1% or less pass the exam.
@@eugenenemenzo2247 And even between 8 dans, I have seen an 8 dan hanshi trashing an 8 dan kyoshi like the kyoshi was a newbie.
