I have a pixie much shorter than this one (like Emma Watson length), and it honestly has been among the most versatile styles I've had because it can be manipulated in so many different ways with just some gel or pomade. It can be sleek or textured to any degree, parted and combed every which way, even finger waved, or just worn natural. Hopefully this is encouraging/affirming to anyone considering short hair; you're going to look fabulous :)

For crying out loud, Dominique...your videos are so adorably helpful and filled with ideas. Not to mention your face...I could watch you for hours. For such a beauty you seem to be kind, not too sugary sweet and just pretty much "normal". If I had short hair these styles would be my choice, except for the one with all the hair off the face and back. After all is said and done while the short hair is cute my fav on you is the mid-length hair. Although I haven't seen a hair length on you that I disliked! Thx for the scoops.

Saw a women today; she wore it a little longer than most, shoulder length, a little asymmetrical, longer on 1 side, and it was the super cutest thing I've seen. I was immediately attracted to her. I have naturally wavy/curly hair myself. Just know with this style, you'll be blow drying it to create that smooth look.. You can still wear it wavy like in the last demo..

Sharing HOPE agreed lol!! I have a really similar haircut and there really isn't much to the back. She has a neckline and the cut is a short graduated bob. Its razored through the whole thing and she has quite a few layers. Her color is gorgeous and that adds the depth and some of the dimension to it. Its really easy and alit of fun to style....if you haven't seen it she has a video of 4 short styles, her hair ia actually a bit shorter in that one but she does a faux hawk(Grace Jones inspired) that is so hot!!!

Your right. There is no such thing as a pixie bob. It's either a pixie, like Tinkerbell or it's a short bob. I'm not saying she's not gorgeous and her tutorials aren't sweet.
Who says there no such thing as a pixie bob? Its definitely a hybrid and is totally modern. I like the name pixie bob.
How do you keep hair from tangling? Mine gets caught in the brush.

Maria Pinto I have fine hair too ( straight tho ) and I just got it cut like this, and it’s wonderful!
The hairdresser told me, that women with fine hair think they can’t have pixie cuts, and it’s totally wrong, often women with fine hair wear the greatest pixie cuts.
With fine hair it’s a question if it’s fine but there’s plenty of it, or if it’s fine and very thin.
It’s the styling and products that creates the hair adventures. 🙂

That's what I thought. A bob.
A pixie cut is literally considered a haircut thats typically between about 1 and 4 inches and can be all the same length or can be cut closer on the sides. A pixie cut can be even longer than that on the top too.
Also she says "pixie bob" as she's blow drying it so...
