Ghana dont need no skyscrapers, for what purpose is it needed, you be up on one of those skyscraper bulidings when it start to collapse because of poor workmanship or if a severe fire breaks out and you dont have adequate technology to help douse the flames. So forget about very tall buildings and think about protecting your tall trees and rivers from galamsey. The taller the building the more harder it is for you to escape when fire breaks out or it looks like its going to collapse. Remember in Africa we dont have an adequate plan for when things go wrong.
Please which country in w.africa have 40 floors building tell us if you don't know anything don't come n fool yourself here the tallest building in w.africa have 32 floors is in Nigeria were the tallest building in ghana have 27 floors so were lies your argument don't be fake.
Definitions of skyscrapers have changed with time so he isn't exactly wrong. It was first described as any building above 10 floors and then later to any building above 20 floors. It was quite recently that they changed it to any building above 40 floors which equates to 150 meters approximately.
This a very ignorant comment, why build skyscrapers if you don't have the companies and skill workers to occupy them, the west can afford to occupy their skyscrapers, We are just not there yet and that's fine. Washington DC has no skyscrapers and its thriving.
True… there is a fault that runs through Accra. That doesn’t mean you can’t build skyscrapers. No country is more at risk for earthquakes than Japan 🇯🇵…yet Tokyo has over 157 “high” rises. San Francisco 🇺🇸 has close to 500 and has hundreds of tremors per year…
@@aubynbiney1551 i think most us? are aware of Accra's earthquake- prone situation....and did anybody mention that we can't build skyscrapers?. The question we should be asking is if the existing high-rises are retrofitted with earthquake resistant technology. We don't want a situation like what happened in Port-Au- Prince.
Why this obsession with skyscrapers? We live in the tropical zone. Let us plant more trees to beautify our environment and stop this obsession with skyscrapers!!
Ghana is very beautiful
Beautiful ❤️
Looks really promising
The only building that can be considered as a skyscraper in Ghana is just the new bank of Ghana headquarters.
The rest are just towers
How can you consider that Bank building of 23 floors as a skyscraper when Vilagio Vista Azure which is 27floors is not?
Airport areas have a limit to the heights of buildings for some reasons.

@@kyekye2K I thought we are supposed to live in the present ? He is very wrong unless he qualifies it by saying Ghana’s new 1900s type of skyscraper
@@nanaaddo9110hahahaha where did I mention Nigerian or west Africa or did a comparison … pay attention in class
Skyscraper is not a means of development....beside Ghana is modern and beautiful
We have land that's why our skyscrapers are not too tall.
We are also not over populated that's another reason
😂Another excuse!!😅
Not necessarily sky scrapers but at least high rise buildings between 8 and 15; floors is ok for Accra,
Skyscrapers ??? lol where?? More like mid and high rises but definitely not skyscrapers…

Zero skyscrapers. Mostly structures. A few high-rises.
Our land is at a risk of an earthquake, You can research about it. Most especially Accra.
