- Poland, Jelenia Góra: jeleń means deer and góra means mountain, therefore Jelenia Gora means Mountains of Deer. Of course, if I end up in a little town in Poland that has such a name, the only thing I think about is eating deer meat! Deer meat is something I've eaten only in Poland and the first time I tried it was inside some pierogi. This time the deer meat was inside a different type of plate...

Today at 4pm UK, 11am NY, 8am LA, I'll be streaming on Twitch www.twitch.tv/micheleponte tomorrow on RUclips. I must stop streaming on RUclips on the same days I upload cause the vlogs (not live videos) will get less views, which means less subscribers.
I need Twitch and RUclips at the same time cause the economical situation in Italy, but in the world either, it's a mess. And I need this to become a job that can 100% sustain me as soon as possible, cause my savings won't last until 2021.
Thank you for understanding
Perfect thanks for letting us know when you will twitch 👍
@@TravelersThreadthank you!
Michele, We will will watch if you let us know ! You have good content, a great channel, a pleasant personality, so you will do well !
Your food hunt was interesting today 😂 We have venison ( deer meat) cut into “steaks” , about 3/4 “, and also ground into hamburger , mixed with pork , for the fat . Venison is very lean , and needs some other meat fat added. I don’t know if venison is served in restaurants in the USA.
Understandable. I'm a new youtuber with lock down. I hear ya!! New sub 😉
Moje miasto - ładnie pokazane. Dziękuję!
Nie ma za co 🙂
Hi Michele very beautiful city and streets look amazing and you have finally after a long search got your deer even pizza looks delicious. Thank you my friend for taking us on a cozy tour. Stay safe as always
Stay safe too, Faisal, but enjoy these last moments of summer!
@@MichelePonte Yes you are right last moments of summer indeed. :-)
nice vlog watching from the Philippines.
Great country the Philippines, Evelyn!
@@MichelePonte yeah! thanks my friend.
Wow what a great video, hope to visit Poland.Yes of course same like in Lithuania,i remember Lithuanian more than English.Poland is more amazing and i am sad that Lithuania didnt join Poland. What a memories Jelenia Gora, deer meat is amazing hope you enjoyed. Also i have ever ate reindeer meat in Norway with cranberry jam, well because there was tradition and it was like gourmet dish rather than everyday dish. With coffee it is difficult,in Thailand i have ever had good espresso but that was 2,5 times more expensive than normal one and still it wasnt the best that i ever drank.Bean, grinder, roaster everything is important for good coffee.
A true Italian always brings his coffee moka machine from home :)
Anyway, Lithuania is beautiful too and I’ve not tried the meat you ate, so I’ve gotta do it!
@@MichelePonte about video that i said is this.Still they gave me credit for that as audio/video editor though it is completely new.
It is volunteer project for Australian church ministry,it should be my 2nd video for them, before video was outside of the box is completely made by me. ruclips.net/video/d7xI6y01s0E/видео.html

Ahahah, I'm so happy you're gonna visit Poland!
@@MichelePonte next summer hope so😎
Kto z jeleniej?
Ja nie, ale maksymalnie wkurwia mnie jak piękna architektura jest pomazana przez to patologiczne gówniarstwo, nie możecie coś z tym zrobić?
Michele, as I was watching this I was thinking about Rome & Poland connections. Then I remembered that Polish novelist Henryk Sienkiewicz won a Nobel Prize in Literature in 1905 for writing "Quo Vadis: A Narrative of the Time of Nero" in 1895. Interesting the connections between the two countries even include your family. :-)
The two countries also mention each other also in the respectively national anthems:)
@@MichelePonte Michele, I didn't know, that is pretty interesting!
You get all excited when you visit Poland, it’s nice to see how happy it makes you, and your bodyguard ninja turtle 🐢 Gio😁🌸🌸
Ahahaha, perfect comment to send as screenshot to Gio'!
🌟I found your day tripping to be very cool my Italian friend Michele. Glad you enjoyed your dear. Where I live it is about deer season soon. It is duck right now and or state is where everyone comes to hunt. Soon it will not be safe to be out in the fields outside the city. I do enjoy the look of the city you are in and hope this trip is good my friend. Be well and stay healthy.
It's so cool that you're passing from duck season to deer season!
They both have a different taste from the other meats.
Poland is beautiful and I'm happy every time I'm there!
I do enjoy watching your travel vlogs everyday❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much, Sher!
Such coffee snobs lol, but i get it. Food looked fantastic. I'd love to go to Poland one day. Hey, believe in your dreams, right Michele.
You’re welcome to Poland any day!
Jesteście zajebiści. You're cool mates :D
Dzjekuje bardzo :)
Michele Ponte license plate and streets signs were cool...good idea !
Thank you, Julie!

Hello from Ukraine! You make grate video! I liked!
Thank you so much, Spasiba!
nice video guys , I have been born in Jelenia Gora , greetings from USA
Dziękuje bardzo
Will you be able to list down how much money your total road trip was until you're back to Italy?
No, but from Wednesday I’m gonna do it
I like your Russian style English accent👌👍
Ahah, I never felt like it’s russian, but I’ll accept it 😁
There's no Russian accent, it's South European.
not been a lot of traveling for me this year, so I bought some happiness in a form of an MC, need to have some freedom :D
Freedom will come, soon!
@@MichelePonte i hope :D
You have good sense of humor. ;-)
Thank you, Davis 🙂
huh. i had no idea!
Now you do 🙂
thanks
You're welcome!
Man can't wait to come back to Poland i taking my new mustang with me can't wait to fuck around on roads
It will be great!
Nice vlog Miche , I miss Poland 🇵🇱 because of this shitty virus , hopefully jan we are going to visit my wife’s mama in mazury , sei Mai stato in masury Miche, e Bellina,! 👊
I find grotesque to say, Miche you should get a transferwise bank account, much better rates any currency in Europe and world, easy to open through a app plus you get a debit card with good rates , look into it Miche
Sorry auto spell che minghia grotesque! It was supposed to say I forgot to tell you, not grotesque, this I pad is pazzo
I'd love to spend a summer in the Mazury!
I know better the west side of Poland :)
Instead of transferwise, I'm using Revolut. It works perfectly in Poland, unless I've gotta withdraw from some ATM.
@@MichelePonte look into TransferWise as well because it gives probably the nearest rates to live rates! Have a look I also have resolut card but TransferWise is great !
Watching your vlogs with amazing views enjoy and keep safe always po❤️
Thank you so much! 🙏
@@MichelePonte WC I don't skip ads😂 at least I can help in a little way
Ahah, thanks 😁
Why have you covered the New York signal with the subscription suggestion?
I need subscribers!
I wanted to eat at the pierogi restaurant ! Btw do you eat polish duck blood soup?
No, I tried just the blood sausages, but they ain't for me
@@MichelePonte I love Kiszka on a big bun with ketchup and a garlic dill pickle but it is an acquired taste. Im really loving these vids
Hi Michele , Here in the States we call deer meat venison . Whrere I live in NY , many many people go hunting for it every year . I don't like to shoot them , but I have eaten it many times . It's very good . Poland is beautiful .
Thank you for the insights, Tom!
"SUBSCRIBE MICHELE PONTE" License Plates! That is better that the cardboard sign you wore trying to get 1,000 subscribers in one day. :-) Giovanni is becoming an RUclips star. Just curious, reference the half Polish heritage, is that your top half versus the bottom half or your left side versus the right side? :-) Poland appears to be a beautiful country! In America, some of us call our significant others "Honey" :-) By the way, Santa would not appreciate you eating deer especially before the Christmas holiday season. Just saying! :-) By the way, I will subscribe to your Twich as soon as I get a login and stuff! Great video!
Ahahhah, half of my brain is Polish, but we can discuss farther which half :)
Poor Santa, you’re right! 😅
@@MichelePonte :-)
It may be weird, but you look just like my friend from Żywiec, who is half Italian as well.
Oh wow
Your Polish accent is almost as good as your English accent. As for coffee ... well, you have got a point there. In Italy, it was much better. Especially in the Trieste, at the coffee expo.
Thank you so much / Dzieki 🙂
🦌🍕🇵🇱
Hi J B 🙂
deer nice , i saw lot of incentive for Italy travel and visas ,hope travel ban for EU will end will Italy alllow long term visa access ?
We’ll see. Italy is beautiful and tourists must see it!
My Spanish friend says that Italian coffee is terrible and that it always tastes burnt. She says Spanish coffee is better. :) Please tell me your thoughts.
Ahahahha, where the hell did he drink it, in Little Italy?
You had such a hard time finding the deer meat, in the middle of the video, YT ads promoted deer hunting equipment. YT Ads knows what they are doing.
Ahahah, let's hope they are expensive equipment, so the ads will pay more 😅
@@MichelePonte Maybe. I watched it. I was amazed how far bow and arrows 🏹 and scopes 🔭 have come.
1:47 Is she wearing the Unreleased Jordan's?
Ahahah
Fun fact: This "Czech" beer is Polish. They made it fake Czech because they've used Czech hop in it.
The taste is the only thing that matters :)
@@MichelePonte If you want to drink some good Polish beer look for Miłosław and Komes beers.
Dzieki
We eat deer aka venison all the time.
Where? 🙂
Hello from indonesia 🙂🙂

POLSKA GUROM
Do you know pizza is originally Chinese
Not really: what they say that Marco Polo brought is radically different than pizza: it didn’t have cheese, nor tomato. It was practically bread.
@@MichelePonte because Italians put more toppings
4:46 This modest church, empty walls, a few frescoes, it is a sign of the times. It will be an Orthodox church. Many emigrants from the east (Ukraine, Belarus, Russia) come to Poland
Usually these emigrants they don’t go to small towns like Jelenia, but big cities where they have the possibility to really make some money.
@@MichelePonte This is Lower Silesia the favorite destination of Ukrainians (A4 motorway and the proximity of Germany) Of course, the greatest number of emigrants is in large cities, but in Lower Silesia they live in small towns. I am an emigrant. In my city with 70,000 inhabitants, a Polish church was opened after 2008.
It's in fact an Orthodox church, but it's not a "sign of the times" as you wrote it, especially not nowadays. It's rather the sign of history of these place after the WWII. Lower Silesia and Jelenia Góra - Hirchberg in german (Hirsch - deer, berg - mountain), became a polish territory and german inhabitants were forced to leave it and departed. But in the same time Poland - forced by allies - lost huge part of it's easternmost territories, from where almost all polish Jelenia Gora citizens (including my gradparents) came. Significant part of these people were orthodox, so the church (earlier roman catholic) were given to them in 1948
@@tomaszbondarewicz3761 An interesting story. I thought it was because of the influx of immigrants from the east that this church was given to them. THX
Which country has the easiest women>?
not Poland
