    Taras is such an interesting dude with a great speaking style. He could explain how ice melts in the sun and it would be interesting.

    How is that scape hanging? Is it slit and in between aio glass sump area abd rest in tank?
    I wouldn’t be able to keep fairy wrasses w/o a net😢

    Naybe if you 100% know the "cycled media" is clean, then you can do that, but most people starting a new tank don't have this option. I don't reccomend taking seeding bio meed from one to tank to another including "live rock" unles syou want the pests that go along with it.

    Why does it look like an ADA style tank with Manzanita wood coming out the top?

    • @TopShelfAquatics
      @TopShelfAquatics  8 месяцев назад +1

      Why not be different? New style of rock structure from Kevin trying out something unique and special!

    That caribsea line is the live variety. This is just heresay but adding bottled bacteria to livesand could very well elongate the cycling time. It's possible that the different strains from the sand and bottle could have a warfare to be the dominant species in the tank.

      Or..... you continuously do the same method that we have practiced here at TSA and have continued success. I have not once seen this extend the cycling, if anything it helps develop a more robust microbiome!
