Peter Mitchell just saw him in January of ‘19 in Illinois. He played flawlessly. Played over an hour of encores, tons of Hendrix. I really do think those new Strats he and Fender produced inspired a new side of his creativity.
Taylor Harless He is pretty well known and respected. I can see why not many people know his stuff because it doesn't fit the mainstream genre. He never got the commercial attention he deserved, Roy Buchanan is even more underrated because almost no one knows his stuff.
I was at the Ventura show the night before this. Tommy Taylor's backup vocals are spot on brilliant in this one. Kyle has that vibe that really compliments the music well. The magic is back. Glad EJ got the band back together. Thank you for uploading these vids Mike!
Go watch the austin city limits version it blows this out of the water .... eric is my favorite musician of all time , but lets be honest his “power level “ lowered a little since his prime in the early 90s
I wish he played this song more often; he really shines on it.
One of my favorite Ej tunes of all-time. Really digging Eric's new signature thinline Strat he's playing, sounds beautiful.
Fantastic! Eric is sounding better on this tour than I've heard in years!

Definitely not underrated..... people nowadays just listen to shitty music ...
I love the way the song was played (everything except the talk)!
Yup they are on fire again this is great to see....

OMG I've been waiting for something like this for decades. Thanks 😂🥶😹🤢
Great video. Love EJ. You guys were awesome when you talked and shared a real moment. Moving on to something cooler.
Brilliant!!
Thank you for uploading this!
I am Chickasaw.....you play very good my, Sweet, Brother!!~
Love, Eric the beauttiful acords in the fritboards and fingers love.
I think he's Handel's reincarnation, but nobody recognizes him.
How can you talk during a performance like that. Seriously people at shows...
The bridge is probably hard on his voice. "Oh, boy oh, dear" is very high
I liked his ACL show playing his '54 Strat considerably more...

I’d like to amend your comment by saying that the ACL version of this song will blow literally anything out of the water.
I mean that might be one of the best performances EVER out of any instrument so its just a little bit difficult to top, just a little.
thank you, heading there now
Dude is nearly 70 ffs, shut up.
