Who didn't copy this action growing up 😀..... was unplayable when he was on song. Reverse swing, extreme pace and hostility. He might not have the best stats but he did alot for the game through his 2005 Ashes exploits.
Flintoff is one of my heroes truth be told. I really loved the way he played his cricket. He played with a lot of fun,lot of passion and had a big impact in the team . Even though injuries curbed his cricketing career and made it short but whenever he used to play he made sure he made a good impact for the team. Especially 05'
He was my favourite player from England. He could have become one of the best all rounder in world cricket but unfortunately injuries ruined it. Love Freddie from India
that run up, that follow through, that action. im telling ya there is a lot of my life in those things. My fav cricketer ever. and still in shape, can easily return to play t20. come on freddie come to PSL or something m8. nice one sky
Freddie bowled 85-90+ in his absolute prime (2003-2008) with swing and cut, stokes hits 82-83MPH max and swings it more I’d say, you’re scared of one, but respect the other
Freddy Flintoff for England in Tests, Yuvraj Singh for India in ODIs & T20s might not have big individual records but they won lot of matches for their team.
Excellent stuff from Flintoff and Keys. Entertaining and insightful. Flintoff is doing a bit of a schwarzegger at the moment. 3 careers so far for hin and still looks young and fresh
@@kaberigomes2117 He tried to be pro boxer so he trained hard for it, hence the better physique and younger look... he had 2-3 bouts too before he decided that was enough.
@@nirajsingh8830 He's one of those players where the stats don't reflect how good (and often great) he was. All the top players said they hated facing him. If he didn't get them out he would soften them up so they would get out to a loose shot against Giles or another seamer. His ODI bowling stats reflect his talent much better but after his first 4 years he became a special bowler in tests too. His batting was more erratic but he always had the capacity to change a game and put the opposition on the back foot in any game situation.
Scary good between 04 and 08. Can remember him bowling on flat pitches in India and had the batsman jumping all over. Must of been scary as f*ck facing him
Many of you are wondering about his fitness even at this age. Probably many dont know after retiring from cricket he became a professional boxer, thats what kept his fitness till now even much better than before.
After watching to the end, there’s Only one thing missing, they never talked about the technical side of bowling from Fred’s view, foot work, timing, arm speed, front arm, shields, all of that missing! Do another video please Freddy!
Freddie is a legend. And he mentions, among others, how Ab de Villiars changed the game... but I wonder, how many batsmen can really emulate his strokeplay or range? He sure has influenced others... but nobody has been close to matching him!!

this man is more fit now than he ever was when he was playing lmao. If cricketers took fitness seriously back then, some of them could've played into mid their 30's if not late 30's like Jimmy Anderspn
freddie had the best action and some serious pace. Equally hostile while batting, i mean if you have to rank the greatest all round cricketers kallis and him are right at the top.
So good to hear Fred talkin about cricket! Such a wealth of knowledge. Sky should use him more.
Who didn't copy this action growing up 😀..... was unplayable when he was on song. Reverse swing, extreme pace and hostility. He might not have the best stats but he did alot for the game through his 2005 Ashes exploits.
I think you're spot on here. Flintoff is one of those players where stats don't tell the full story.
He was injured a lot. Had a few other health issues.
Not as good as Jimmy Anderson, but still stunning on his day
Bit like broad for me. A spell bowler, he could come in during a period of the game and completely change it. Left handers couldn't handle him
You just knew watching Freddie he was a better bowler than his stats suggested. When he had his tail up he was a high-quality bowler.
Freddy looks younger than ever, we all thought he would become a boozer in retirement but that Top Gear money has kept him in shape
We have to annihilate Spurs on Sunday
He was into MMA after his cricketing Career...Still looks more fit and trim..
Not the top gear money. He's done is all himself and delt with a number of his issues. Big respect.
Even his hair density goes lit.

Man,,, his analysis of batsman foot position is spot on, shewag didn't even moved his feet,, that was how batsman were in the day
I used to imitate Flintoff's bowling action in childhood. You look same Flintoff! Thanks Sky Sports 👍
Me too bro, about 30 mph slower though 😅😂😂
What Joe said, but much slower!
I tried and gave myself a side strain.

Flintoff 🥲 2005 nostalgia hitting hard. He still looks the same!
Actually he was far more bulkier back then. He has probably worked out more after retirement 😀
He was a aggressive player
What a attitude
Flintoff looking in absolute shape🙃
My guy looking jacked
@@gurujojo8992 thanks for sharing I had no idea
He looks more in his prime now than he did in his cricket prime 💪💪. Legend
this is an old video
He looked so big in Ashes 05..he s in great shape now
Man, he looks hotter and fitter now than his last ODI in 2009.
Seriously he looks so young
Before Ben Stokes there was Andrew Flintoff. 90s kids know him.
That 2005 Ashes Bro 🔥
Surprisingly they both have played together for the national team! Elites know this
Yes & even Yuvraj's 6 sixes in a row 😁
And before Flintoff was the great Ian Botham.
Was obsessed as a kid
Flintoff vs jack kallis was epic battle.

One thing about English players is that they make u love the game.

My generations Ian Botham. Absolutely brilliant player. That over at Edgbaston to get Langer and Ponting out is one of the best I’ve ever seen.
Great allrounder, a genuine fast bowler and a very effective hard hitting lower order batsman
"There are a limited number of balls in my body". Right on, Freddie!
Can't even imagine Ben Stokes saying that, hence the difference between them.

Great Waseem's tips are pure gold.
he learnt the wrist position from The Great wasim akram at Lancashire. The rest is history
I think Freddie is such a nice bloke too. Glad he doing good with Top Gear!!
Flintoff's common gesture is 'back stepping''.noticed this back move since his career.
yeah he started this back move when yuvi hit six sixes after fight with him.

Whenever I see him, EA Sports Mark Nicholas commentary runs in my head :
"Big Freddie Flintoff goes to fifty and in some style...."
What a guy...arrogant,style,anger all like a fast bowler ...respect mate..
Flintoff the best. 2005 Ashes the best Ashes ever. Thanks to Freddie's marvelous Ashes that year England won it.
If he was this fit in his playing days, he would have gotten fewer fitness issues & it would have enhanced his performance & longevity.
My favourite cricketer of all time! He was brilliant was our Freddie! one of the greatest English cricketers of all time...
What a talent
Wasim gets a mention. Yet to see a bowler who hasn't talked about him.
Thats because he was a genius...and on English wickets he was unplayable at times
he played with wasim at lancashire

All the Lancashire players that played with him have nothing but praise and love for Wasim, top bloke.
