    • @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic
      @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic  6 месяцев назад

      Arabic has many dialects due to its historical and geographical spread across the Arab world, which led to regional variations in vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar. Factors like isolation, cultural influences, and historical events also contributed to the divergence of dialects over time and that itself influenced different pronunciation patterns. Hope this helps

    • @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic
      @ArabicClearlyLevantineArabic  9 дней назад

      In my view, relying on transliteration can sometimes hinder progress in learning Arabic. While it may be helpful at first, I believe it's more effective for learners to engage with the script directly if they're serious about mastering the language. Those who feel they still need transliteration can personalise it to suit their learning style, but transitioning to the Arabic script as soon as possible is key. After all, it would seem unusual for Arabic speakers to learn English using only Arabic script.
