    Oh my,that was a difficult job. Way to go, Phil, on accomplishing it. Hopefully you sealed everything so it didn't leak or cause damage to the floor.

    Hi Phill, good one, to go a bit further take the bottom you cut from the floor bracket , and cut away part of the rim on that and place the bottom under the floor bracket and seal it in place with silicone.
    no ugly hole in the floor or possibly carbon monoxide coming in the van while traveling.

      Good idea 👍 luckily there's I never went all the way through so there's no actual hole

      thanks for your response I thought I saw at least the pilot hole from the drill go through the van floor very nice van wish I had one@@brummiesoutdoors

    *Ummmm Phil, did you also seal up the drill hole thru the floor of the van... otherwise when you drive along on the rainy day the water (or even spiders & other bugs) will find it's way up inside... and then the rust will develop.🙂.*
