As far as I know, and unfortunately, double drop affects every item that the mobs can drop. Which means the chances of it dropping what you want are about the same, it will only help you getting more drops than not get anything at all, so basically, it makes it higher just by a tiny bit. It's only really really useful when the mobs drop only hand full of items or less and his overall drop rate is low. I've always seen double drop as a "Make drops happen more often than not" type of thing.

So I used a level 10 guilded Sura (to dump xp) with full INT and flame spirit active and just run around the specialist. The Drop is Much better! in case they havent fixed it XD.

no, the chances of getting what you want are actually doubled. you can drop multiple items from one enemy.

It matters for sure. Without any dd you get like 2-3 fms from 100. With 200% IS and 100% dd I get like 40 fms from 100.

Double drop is for the chance to drop 2 items from the monsters instead of just 1. Doesnt affect the chance of actually getting something or not.
