When the Bible say Moses and Aaron talk with Him face to face does not mean they saw his physical face. It simply means he saw God as represented by his voice as he spoke to him not physical face. When he wrestled with God, he did not know he was fighting with God. It was after the demonstrations of God's power before he knew that it was God. This is why God comes to people in form of angels, other human beings, cloud, fire and other things.
