- In part 2 we see truck 646 collecting the green waste bins and piles in Valley Road, Hogan Street and Farrar Street in the suburb of Balgowlah. In the previous contract all commodities in these 3 streets where collected by rear loaders but have since been put onto a Side Arm run due to the wide nature of the streets, Although Hogan St can prove to be abit of a squeeze at times with frequent construction in the street. While a majority of this video shows 240L oTTo’s being collected we also see a large set out of crates buckets and bundles being collected in the final clip. Not to much to say in PT2’s description as ive mentioned a majority in PT1’s.
Specs:

Fantastic video! Interesting to see how Australia's method of residential rear had collection compares to the US. Love how efficient the tipper is, as well as the truck's overall appearance. Cool setout at the end! Great work
Cheers for the comment great to know our brothers from overseas are liking the videos too! Not many councils in Australia still allow residents to place bundles and boxes of loose green waste alongside there bins for collection as most places have ASL’s. I reckon our bin lifters in Aus may be abit better then what you have on your side of the world as you can tip upto 3 bins at once, rather quick lifters and a better lock / bin clamp which secures the bin onto the lifter tightly from the rim of the bin where as from what I’ve seen in your side of the world your lifters are much quicker but can only service one bin at a time and a lot of bins tend to fall in or not be very secure on the lifter as they are held on front the front of the bin
We do have more or less the same type of bins and binlifts on the garbage truck in Europe in general. Dont know, if "down under" has the underground bins, or more of the 8-10 yard dumpsters, using a winsj on their truck too unload it.. ive seen the U.S has those but.. not the same types. If/when i get back on working on those trucks, i might upload a video of it. :)
