Great progression. Definitely put those practice time on board and you will be amazing. A few tips is bend your knees a little more and relax your upper body, keeping your back straight. This is why on uneven terrain is buckling you. Getting off the lift put a little more pressure towards your front foot and statnd stack riding it out straight off. Good luck
Any tips for a beginner? I've been on the mountain five times and am very decent at heel side turns and stops, but I'm afraid of doing toe side turns or stops. And I'm terrified of keeping my board straight and moving quickly. Can go down green and blue runs without falling, but only on the heel side, which tires me out quickly.
I was exactly like you at my 5 day, now I’m in the 10 and I’m finally making the turns. My tips for you, try do the same you do with the heel side, now using the toe side. You will probably fall many times but this way you get the toe side. The key is the back foot, the front keep the direct and the pressure when you are stoping in both side is with the back foot.
I will say this video was taken my 4th day on the mountain, but I committed to learning both heel and toe side turns my 2nd time snowboarding. Try watching a couple videos on knee steering (Tommie Bennett is great for this). I got it by committing my weight down the slope more and then really pressing that lead leg’s shin into my boot. Start slow, don’t point the board downhill for too long, and wear a helmet. The few falls you may take should be very mild. Also, have fun out there!!
Any beginner who has lessons will do an exercise called falling leaf, which you complete on just the toe edge, and then just the heel edge. It teaches you to get comfortable controlling speed on both edges which riding both your natural stance and switch. If you haven't done it then look it up because it what all beginners should do before learning to turn.

Go to your heel side and stop, then try toe side until stop and this way you will start linking the turn like a S

What is that intro song?
All my videos start with "Ice & Fire" by King Canyon. Keeps me on theme.
