GREAT FINDS, Scott! I love collecting the old cereal boxes with sports cards and sports history! SUPER COOL that you added to your Heartland collection! EPIC MSG program! Thanks for sharing, Scott
Hi Scott, i really like that SCD Yogi. Nice program too from Elgin Baylor’s rookie year. I wish there were more basketball cards from that era. My wife’s uncle who is still with us went to college in West Virginia and knew Hot Rod Hundley.
“Converse, Converse by Chuck Taylor! Make you play like Elgin Baylor!” Great Pickups Scott! Hot Rod Huntley is still a legend in WV! And, he’s in both the 57 Topps set and the 61 Fleer set! Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
@ For a second I thought you were going to show a program from the night in 1954 when he went for the College record for high game score in MSG against NYU (37 points). As a young schoolboy, he was a gym rat at the Charleston YMCA, and his HS games were always sold out mostly well in advance of the game!
Man, you took me back to crushing my breakfast with the utmost purpose, knowing that the more I ate the more chances at cards and posters I’d have😂. One of my favorites was the Dream Team jacket offer. The thinnest material known to man with 5 Dream Teamers printed on it. Was so hype to get it…thing wouldn’t have fit me as an infant!!
I've still got a few random cereal boxes stashed away in various places lol. Always like to say it when I see it. McKinney, TX... birthplace of the late, great Haystacks Calhoun.
How was Texas? were you closest to Dallas, Houston or where the Rangers play? lot's of nice ceral boxes , Nolan Ryan , Ozzie Smith, Jim Rice , Tom Seaver ,
