This video showcases the voice talents behind the female main characters and villainesses of four Disney classics that have recently been released to DVD and Blu-Ray in the Diamond Edition Collection. (2010,2012,2013, 2014 respectively).
The voice talents who are deceased are as follows.
Lucille La Verne (1872-1945)
Verna Felton (1890-1966)
Eleanor Audley (1905-1991)
Adriana Caselotti (1916-1997)
Ilene Woods (1929-2010)
The voice talents that are still living are as follows
Pat Carroll (1927- )
Mary Costa (1930- )
Jodi Benson (1961- )

I think these voices were actually taught. I’m pretty sure this is the Transatlantic Accent, we could learn it ourselves if we had classes

Verna Felton; hired lazy maid that Lucy was scared to fire in I Love Lucy.
You're right! I love "I Love Lucy", and Felton had such range because she was so sweet and caring as the fairy godmother.

When you see interviews almost everyone say that it was a wonderfull time, but now the new actors are complaining or there is a lot of conspiracy. Maybe is the generation or how Disney was managed back then.

What’s amazing is outside of Disney she was mainly known as a comedian - you see her playing stuffy society ladies on shows like Green Acres, The Beverly Hillbillies and The Dick Van Dyke Show. She was really funny

Sorry Eleanor Audley, but Hans Conried is the best, especially as Captain Hook in Peter Pan and as Lord Duke and King Stefan (demo recording only) in Sleeping Beauty!

You made an ode to original Disney villains and don’t include Betty Lou Gersons Cruella Devil? But somehow Ursula makes the list? Tsk tsk. Blasphemy.
Gurl, Betty Lou is impressive, but no one can match the depth, breadth and power of Pat Carrol's voice, even at age 94 she could pull off the very same laugh she did as Ursula when she first dubbed the character.
