    I absolutely love the fact Todd does not have an ego. He readily admits mistakes Bethesda has made, doesn't get defensive about things, or use corporate-speak to dodge an issue. That is so refreshing to see.

    WOW, I am starting to respect this guy even more. At least he has the balls to admit the way they addressed the dialogue wasn't the best. And admitting that the multi award winning game such as F3 didn't have the best of gunplay mechanics must be hard to to do so when you're this successful.
    I've seen a SHIT TON of developer interviews, and some of them dodge the questions regarding the problems with their games as the last nail in the coffin. I wasn't even going to buy Skyrim's HD version because I already own it on steam, but somehow I feel compelled to give them more money... RESPECT!

      I think it's better for " me with the voice character" it tells a really cool story. I understand that if u want the main character with out a voice dialogue for fallout 4 or whatever and u want it like fallout 3 ..it feels like your the character u want to be. if u understand what I'm saying.

    • @TheGreatBenjie
      @TheGreatBenjie 8 лет назад +18

      It makes for a good story, but fallout isn't a game where the story is told to you. It's a game where you make the story. Fallout 4 has one good playthrough. The first. Then when you try to play again, you realize it basically has to be the same story again.

    • @Jasonwolf1495
      @Jasonwolf1495 8 лет назад +6

      "It tells A really cool story." A . ONE. That is the problem you get one good playthrough story with ONE character. It just isn't varied enough for another WHOLE playthrough. There really aren't enough changes between playthroughs.
      Fallout used to let you make a crazed lunatic one game, then an almost perfect hero, then you can be a wimpy nerd who just hides from everything. And all those characters will get really different stories both in how they get to the ending AND the ending.

      I am disappointed at Fallout 4. I got the DLC Pass for $20 and got the game for christmas...mostly that is why I am not livid at the weak F4 DLC, but also remember that Fallout NV is still being played to this day thanks to mods and I expect the same for F4 . Also I heard Doom was awesome, so that is good on Bethesda's part

    • @gamephreak5

      Bethesda had nothing to do with Doom, that was all id Soft.

      id is a subsidiary of zenimax which also shares resources with Bethesda...so yeah, kind of there game too. Also Char, it is true that NV didn't sell as well but at this point Obsidian should just take over the franchise because at it's core Fallout should be about role playing and not a Michael Bay Post Apocalyptic Simulator

    Truth be told, Bethesda games are the only games in which I sometimes just stop to read lore books or walk around just taking in the environment. Especially in Skyrim you just automatically stop after the main quest and then climp to the peak of the throat of the world, use the clear skies shout and watch the sunset.
    Also in Skyrim I like to use the creation kit to tweak my own game by adding different variants of one armor to which I myself make new textures or some little things like that. Just the fact that I can modify my own experience with the game's blessing makes it fantastic.

    So does this mean you will go back to more dialogue options and better roleplaying in Fallout 5?

    i like how todd listens to feedback and know issues about his games like the dialogue and season pass for fallout 4
    i know he's supposed to do this but unlike other developers he's honest which gives hope they won't repeat fallout 4's mistaked with tes 6

    Here's an idea.... You know how the pip boy is sorta your go to item for inventory quests etc? Imagine a magical journal in elder scrolls that was pretty much the pip boy of elder scrolls and if they added the karma system to elder scrolls the journal would have some magic light surrounding it and the lights colour was your karma colour. TODD GET ON THIS

    i'd really like it if they'd make proper ports or remakes to the early TES games like arena and daggerfall i think its kind of been so long that the new generations have only been playing since morrowind at best and it would be a really fun experience for people to be able to see that point in time in the elder scrolls universe.

    Elder scrolls VI..................... The anticipation is killing me knowing that the ideas are possibly being discussed already😁. I'll have to get my elder scrolls fix from Skyrim se which is a dream come true for an Xbox one user and having the mod support👍.

    I really will appreciate it if Bethesda takes the time to put in actual genuine effort in the making of another hopefully RPG, Open-World ESO game. My reason for this statement is due to when I became a modder of Skyrim I thought to myself as I looked at my "bare essentials" category/profile..Go MO!, anyways, I thought that if only the game creators had thought about this and incorporated theses now would be mods in the first place there would be no need for those certain mods. Now its a given that everyone is different so mods will appeal to gamers in varying ways but some core fundemental mods such as - SkyUI (which I do beleive would actually work really well for consoles as much as it does for PC), Unofficial Skyrim Patches, Fost Fall, Skyrim Unbound, Realistic Needs and Diseases, Wet and Cold, High King of Skyrim, Enhanced Mighty Dragons, Convient Horses, High Level Enemies, Realistic Animals and Preditors, Imersive weapons, Imersive Armour, Bandoliers, Unique Uniques, Gaurd Dialogue Overhaul, Diverse Gaurds, Imersive Patrols, Run for Your Lives, Amazing Follwer Tweaks, Travelers of Skyrim, Perkus Maximus, Duel: Combat Realism, Way of the Monk, Sneak Tools, Ish's Souls to Perks - are much need basic mods that would have made the game x100 better at its base overall. As for visual mods go; Skyrim Remastered Special Edition hits most of the visuals right on the head for inersive and graphical beauty purposes but it took them 4 years after the game launched to do so. With all this said I do beleive that Skyrim would have reached its full success potential and would have surpassed that milestone if it had incorporated these small but major tweaks in the vanilla game because I feel like the official Skyrim game was unfinished given that they rushed to meet launch dates and how big the game is already. On a side note thats the reason I fall in love eith games like Farcry 4 because they have all these cool Imersive features already incorporated into the official base game plus pretty good graphics. Sill this would have also helped out modders a lot because our first 100 mods in our load order would not be mods that fix what Bethesda got wrong in the first place!!! Ultimately would create a much more stable load too. Plus Bethesda's coffers would still be making that Septum which in turn would have given them the opprotunity to acheive their neccessary "technology" by now to have created ESO VI. But anyways thats what I have thought about the matter for the longest time. I want to thank you if you have read my whole rant and hopefully Bethseda will take a note for this time around. Thank you again to the readers. Thank You Bethesda for truly making one of the most legendary games for the scroll shelves. But SERIOUSLY GET IT RIGHT THIS TIME PLEASE!
