Having grown up in a first gen Caribbean immigrant household, punishments are pretty much the same. The small tub of hot water wasn't something I experienced till I went to Curacao to visit family with my mom and siblings, as we have basically an "infinite" amount of hot water here in the Netherlands. My mom, who did most of the raising as she split off with my dad when I was 7 (he was still very much in the picture, still is), has a lot of African friends and through their children I am familiar with African (specifically Ghanaian and Nigerian) culture. She also makes some bomb ass jollof rice icl.

A lot of these trailers are from Ghana. I know cause I saw the ksi text and immediately thought of Kumasi (a city in Ghana).
The place has Kumawood, iykyk, and whereas the movies have massively improved, we're still a long way from competing with you lot from naija.
