If you don’t know this, the way she is dressed and how her hair is styled looks similar to the Chinese moon goddess: Chang’e.

I have been celebrating Moon Day since I was a little girl. As a child, my mother would take us to Fong;s Bakery to get the boxes of mooncakes to prepare our visitation days to our relatives. We would deliver and have tea with them. We would honor our elders.

Thank you! I do my own hair and makeup. The hanfu outfits are mostly bought from store on Taobao, with a few exceptions. This skirt I wore for example is custom made by a tailor in China. And the outer layer skirt is actually from H&M ;)
