Looking pretty good so far. I'm still on the fence on which of the two hero trees I'll like more as they both look quite fun. Although I hope during the alpha/beta that they do something about some of the dead talents we currently have that feel like they should either be removed, buffed or replaced. (Justicar's Veng, Fading Light, Vanguard, those crappy damage proc talents, etc.) Fading Light ever since it got nuked (and rightfully so) with nerfs feels super underwhelming for a capstone talent. :(
The one Issues I have with templar is that Hammer of Light looks so similar to final verdict and has the same sound to it. Would have wanted it too look a bit different so everything doesn't just look the same
It has a different sound and look to me. I think the animation for it could be slowed down a bit though to seem a bit more epic. The empyrean hammers have a very similar look to final verdict though for sure
@@LvladenPvP oh yeah, rewatched and slowed it doen and saw now it looked different, it got kinda drowned in effects though
I think we reached a point where FM just has so many features that its almost intimidating
This looks scary. Is there another melee class that can stand a chance against a ret in a fight or does Ret does truck over all other melee?

I wish Ret didn’t feel so boring. It’s shiny and smooth and absolutely pumps. But there’s no rotation to it really, just push what comes off CD to build holy power, spend holy power, repeat. You cannot mess up a rotation on Ret
Well, there most certainly will be a rotation to follow next expansion!
Try double blade of justice and 2holy power judgement with vanguard of justice :D its op and u can hit thise 4hp verdicts in the divine toll window. It feels really good, and with double blade you can aslo pump the stacks

The only thing I don’t like is hammerfall in the templar tree. They need to change it from casting a holy power spender to every 3 holy power spent, because as it is, the Vanguard of justice talent actively sabotages the templar tree 😢

What if they just made hammer of light a choice node with sword of light to change it to swords instead of hammers, for us sword bois

Execution sentence got a nerf so in theory it should still pump the damage up, it just does less overall now

They had the chance to make something incredible with this instead we get 10000pasives and one button that spawns a hammer and they call it templar.
Clearly the ppl who work and balance paladin have no desire whatsoever to work on this class
Not only do the talent changes to the ret and class tree show that that isn't true, the whole point of every hero specs is that it's mostly passive shit to enhance gameplay without making it too complex, and the complex trees like Oracle or lightsmith are the shit ones

I've been offering constructive criticisms since the rework (not that any of it was even seen), such as how strong the 4 hp spender talent was when everybody was saying it sucked, or that now with all these changes execution sentence and final reckoning just seem tacked on and don't really do much besides just be another button you push in wings, as well as their follow on nodes being underwhelming and almost never picked. I've just been a fan of most of what they've done since the rework and they continue to iterate in a way that I enjoy. The fact that they baked exorcism into our mastery with the animation and sound just shows that whoever is working on paladin gets what I want out of the class and that's why I play it. It wasn't my main until the rework.
Here's what you don't do, say something is shit with no insightful reasoning and no potential solutions. That's just you bitching and nobody is going to listen or care
