Great video!! Regarding the Matriarch's output, the Eurorack output has more higher frequency content than the main output due to the choice of capacitors in the feedback paths of the amplifier stages within the Matriarch.
II'm really glad you have added little video features like close ups of the knob changes and panels because it is so hard to see in Matriarch videos. If the angle is off or there is a reflection on the knobs you end up with a totally different patch. Looking forward to the next patch book!
This is awesome. Loved the nerd section and am left inspired by the patch section. True modular use of the delay. Luckily I'm only 43 minutes in, so the chances are high there's more cool stuff coming. Thank you for putting this online. Pure gold.
This channel is an invaluable resource! There is always gold in your videos, so I for one am happy it is a "very long video" haha. Thanks as always, I will be enjoying experimenting with these ideas for some time I am certain 🙏🙏🙏
@@LuisTorres-qz5kr yes I have. I've used it on other synths as well as a send in my DAW for all sorts of stuff. (That's in part 3 way down the road) It sounds great on just about everything. but sure you don't need me to tell you how to do that....(just send outs of interface into theirs of the delay on matriarch and delay out back in)
6:06 was like a filter subliminal message I am not sure if you was meant to do that or am I know destined to use that filter setting every time I use my matriarch Great video by the way the delay is a beauty and really make the instrument for me Cheers 🍻 (Exited to correct the time stamp )
I love those super plucky sounds you used early in the video. Is there some trick to dialing in these short decay settings? My matriarch is very finnicky when it comes to the decay controls; it seems to favor longer decay times with only a very small portion of the knob’s travel range dedicated to short settings. I hope that makes sense. Like starting from zero, which is so short that the decay portion is barely audible, you have maybe a millimeter of travel for short plucky decay settings before the decay portion becomes a longer twang. I’ve always thought this was just an inherent quality of the synth, but perhaps my unit needs to be calibrated?

Thanks a lot for this! Looking forward to watching it over christmas, hopefully I will pick up some good tips! :)
The performance at 44:14 is beautiful, a showcase of this instrument's magical sound. Thanks for another fantastic exploration.
Many thanks!
Just found your channel and can’t wait to dive into the Matriarch content. Never subbed so fast ❤

Cool, thanks! Glad somebody made it to the 40 minute mark!

I’m so excited for the next video
man i love your vids
Thanks for all your hard work- great stuff.
My pleasure!
Great deep dive, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I have a lot more to cover on the delay, so stay tuned for Part 2!
@ will certainly stay tuned. I really enjoy all your vids on the Matriarch. I need to spend some dedicated time with mine.
@@RobeMusic Curious...have you ever used only the Matriarch Delay with an external synth?

@@ketweller007 Cool! Looking forward to the rest of the Delay series. Thanks!
15:15 how to get even longer delay times with one patch cable 🎉

Glad you enjoyed it.

no, mine is the same...for those plucky patches i keep decay really low...below the first marker line. small movements and you'll find it.
@ dang. was hoping there was a remedy.
Also very thankful for this video. Thanks for taking the time to make it, Robe Music.
Thanks! I had fun making it.
Halfway and haven’t left. I don’t even have a matriarch.
My God this thing sounds amazing, I have to get .....oh I already have it.... :) let me actually use it.
