dude, i remember having my parents buy me this game in walmart as my birthday gift! they said i could not play it until my birthday (wich was in like 2 weeks). man, i sniffed through the ENTIRE house to find it and i did. it was ''hidden'' under the toaster lol and i snaked that shit and played it for a few days before they found out and took it back. i fell in love with it and it killed me to not play the game for what felt like 4 months. even today i love that game. i always go back to replay it every few years and even though i know almost everything in the game, it still feels like im playing it for the second time! i stayed up every damn night just to watch metalocalypse and watching this video for the hundredth time still gets me so fucking excited for not only the show, but the game too!!! on of the best colabs of all time, i think!

My wife and I just went to a Dethklok concert here in Omaha. They're touring with Baby Metal. It was fucking AWESOME. We got to meet Brendon Small and Gene Hoglan. (VIP passes. Spendy but worth it.) They're definitely getting talked about and A LOT of people are still loyal fans of the show. It helps that Army of the Doomstar recently came out to finally finish the story. If there is a Dethklok show near you soon... DON'T fucking miss it. It was FUCKING AWESOME.

Honestly the whole RTS/hack n' slash actually grew on me over the years. Though a more violent, action heavy game might have worked better. Or perhaps the RTS elements are representative of the more thoughtful side of metal.

I was so lucky to have gone to the second to last show of this tour in LA at the Palladium. When Dethklok came on, I got right up by the stage and fucking screamed my lungs out, especially when they played The Gears... Oh! And they played this little video a couple minutes before they started playing. It was intense. I love Dethklok.
I wish the Metalocalypse show still continued. I’d love if Eddie was a part of the band as a support character. Sad that Adult Swim had Brandon stop doing it.
Burtal legends was so weird yet fun. Impossible to stream. The part of it i remember the most is escaping a crumbling city as through the fire and the flame just blares out.

Small would do voices and some cartoon clips made for the show would play between songs. And they were even introduced by Face Bones. It was metal af

My favorite part was how they actually wrote out lore, legends, and history for a silly rock\metal gamr with Jack Black, and it was really good. And then seeing the insane amounts of cameos, Ozzy, Brian Posehn, Kyke Gass, and so many others, it was just crazy. I'm surprised it didn't get the attention it deserved. But as long as true fans enjoyed it and remember it, that's good enough. It's the same with The Pick of Destiny album. Tenacious D fans love it, but critics didn't, and the album flopped. But Tenacious D makes music for their fans, not for the critics. But with Jack Black so seasoned now, done way more voice acting and playing way more games, with some good writers, I can see a Brutal Legend 2 being a hit. I'd buy it.

And, the entire time they're showing gameplay, I'm super excited, because I love Robotech. So, they give their negative review, I buy the game later, and I have hundreds of hours of fun with it. I kind of want to play it now, actually.

I remember judas priest song the hellion ans then electric eye and I saw judss priest for my first time ever last Sunday and man I had tears going down my face because the song reminded me of brutal legend and it was my Favorite game to play. the soundtrack is so beautiful. I'm 16 years old now I already saw slayer and behemoth and judss priest and so many more. I'm thankful for the kickass game I played when I was a little kid. I still am a kid but time Flys and i"ll be an adult soon sadly. I gotta rebuy brutal legend :)

I just came here from a Brutal Legend video to check and make sure that what I remembered was real.
I can't even believe this flew over my head when I first saw this. I noticed Eddie immediately when he came on this time around.
I grew up with brutal legend as my first Xbox 360 game and I never knew this existed until now. Keeping this video in the back of my head forever

Yeah, I'm taking liberties to some extent, but my reasoning is that an advertisement is usually information being broadcasted at someone generally without their consent in order to broaden awareness. THIS advertisement failed to broaden awareness to people who actually WANTED to see it. Achieving the opposite of a desired affect.
