Are you watching the same game as me? Great touch around the rim and good passer, but I've never seen a worse 6'7 defensive player in my life. Just isn't athletic enough, he would get eaten alive by bigs who have more polished offense games who are taller an more athletic than him. Hes really REALLY bad on defense. He would be unplayable on most D1 rosters who have taller more athletic bigs. The NBA is a massive reach if he doesn't improve tremendously
Nah if he wants to play and stay in the nba he gonna have be lose a lot of weight and get that handle right and try to mold to be a taller Jae'Sean Tate/ and Thaddeus young play style Tate was 6’3 playing the 4 and 5 in college went to the NBL for some years and really developed his game and now he's a solid player guard/wing in the league for the rockets. Lorton definitely has he has the size height wise to play the wing and small ball 4 in some lineups and but he doesn't change as far as his l he might just be a grant Williams type
Was really hoping Tech would pull it off, but there's a lot to be proud of here. This was the toughest anyone has played LSU all season, and honestly, they kinda exposed them. I'd love to see a rematch in March
They didn’t expose anything. They hit like 4 lucky threes at the end of the shot clock in the first half. The officiating was one sides in Tech’s favor. LSU beat them 39-22 in the second half
You obviously haven’t watched LSU all year because we’ve had a game in OT, so no, you aren’t the toughest anyone has played LSU. Also, we’ve been doing this all year, this our thing, we are not a first half team.

I hope this upcoming offseason Lofton really gets with a certified conditioning coach and gets his weight right, if he gets some of that fat off he’d be even more of a problem, he reminds me of Sean May

I am just convinced people might be too young to know who Sean May is at this point; and then they google his NBA stats and laugh you off comparing Lofton to him but people forget/or might not know Sean May was a beast for the Tarheels and his NBA career didn’t pan out because like Lofton his defence was non existent, he was too slow for PF, and too short for Center. I think another solid comparison would be a less athletic DeJuan Blair.

Lofton needs to shoot outside so the defense will have a hard time chasing him , when his doubled his having difficult time scoring and passing the ball so the key is he needs to learn how to shoot well out side.
