Rode the Mantis only twice and avoided it after that. The Mantis was always a walk-on and had complaining riders disembarking. On a normal day the Rougarou has a 45 to hour wait and at the finish people are smiling. Excellent decision by Cedar Point ! Looking forward to Halloweekends!!!!

+trey cowherd They did. Because of the new trains, the ride isn't near as bad and they felt riders could handle the faster speed. As a result I find it to be as intense as Raptor now.

The second half kills your head, thats why. First half is good, second half is not. Dominator is better than this, it doesn't bang your head around, at least whenever i ride it.
Imo mantis is better. Mantis was interesting because it was standup, but honestly flourless coasters are the same as sits downs so Rougarou is less fun.
I really like the first half of the ride. If I could get off on the MCRB, I would love it. I just really do not like the second half, it is REALLY head banging...
I love those restraints. When I become a B&M coaster designer, I will definitely make every OTSR that restraint-type. Maybe even comfier. B&M will find a way :p -B&M > Intamin- B&M = Intamin
BryceFourn 2001 Lightning Rod will be #2. Valravn won't be that great, as it is nothing special. Taron, on the other hand, is gonna be a kickass Intamin blitz that has over 100 crossovers and tons of near misses!
Every stand up should recieve this. GL is said to be one of the better stand ups, and Mantis was said o be really bad. I personally hated Green Lanturn, and actually liked Rougarou. If a terrible ride can transform to a good ride, just think what this could do to the other stand up coasters.

+Dallasfinest Most B&Ms are filled with sand so it isn't as aloud, but Mantis was supposed to be banshee in the beginning so a roar would add to that.
+Dogeicken no, B&M normally didn't fill their coasters with sand until the very late 90s and early 2000s

is it just me or does it seem like they disabled the trim break on the first drop, its FLYING through the layout. Way faster than the standup cars did

If you pause at 4:15 and 4:35 you can see that the people on the edges are actually hanging off the track... Didn't notice till now.

Scream is my least favorite floreless coaster. I think if Riddlers Revenge went floreless, it would easily be the best one out there.
GL in the front row is the only way to ride it. In the back rows it kills your legs
