You should do a renovation process video with each room being transformed. You have a lot of renovations to do. I don’t think I’ve see that many book cases in a home ever. More bookcases than a lawyers office. I would sell the bookcases. I’m sure you will get good money on them.

Love your new home. The architectural elements throughout the home are amazing. It has a very traditional feel but you can incorporate a more modern feeling with paint, accessories and your furnishings. My suggestions would be to remove the built-in in the formal dining. It is too overbearing in the space. In the kitchen, I would demolish the wall with the built-in to create an open space directly into your family room. If you don't like the wall in the kitchen with the built-ins, you could take that wall out (as long as its not a supporting wall) and give your first level an open floor plan. Taking that wall out would make that area feel more huge than it already is. If not I cant wait to see how you'll glam up that area! Congrats! Here's an idea for the kitchen. You said you may take out the top of the built in that's on the wall separating the kitchen from the living room. You could take the top off and if that wall isn't a load bearing wall you could take that wall out or part of it so the kitchen would be open to the living room! I watch a lot of HGTV and home reno shows lol. You could even keep the bottom part of that built in so you would have 2 islands essentially. Not sure how it would look initially but with your creativity I;m sure you could pull off something totally unique! Congrats again!

Then the RUclips notification thing happened and you slipped through the cracks then you came back on my recommendations list a while ago cause of little Uriah - I love babies and watch a lot of videos of baby stuff. 😩 He is an adorable little guy. Anyway my mom was hospitalized a few days ago and I just saw your upload and I’m really crying right now cause I love your house to home series and I’ve been binge watching them over the last few days to keep me from having an anxiety attack and keep my mind off of anything too stressful. So thanks so much for this video. It might seem like you’re just doing what you would normally do but this video is going to help me sleep tonight because it’ll keep my mind off of what’s going on long enough for me to relax and doze off. If you don't like the wall in the kitchen with the built-ins, you could take that wall out (as long as its not a supporting wall) and give your first level an open floor plan. Taking that wall out would make that area feel more huge than it already is. If not I cant wait to see how you'll glam up that area! I just can't wait to see what you do to the home, you have such great taste. Congrats on your home and I pray that God continues to bless your family!!

This is Awesome! I just recently watched your home buying tips video, because I'm in the process of buying my first home. I have 3 kids and I am looking for the perfect home for us to grow in. This is definitely house goals!
Congrats! Here's an idea for the kitchen. You said you may take out the top of the built in that's on the wall separating the kitchen from the living room. You could take the top off and if that wall isn't a load bearing wall you could take that wall out or part of it so the kitchen would be open to the living room! I watch a lot of HGTV and home reno shows lol. You could even keep the bottom part of that built in so you would have 2 islands essentially. Not sure how it would look initially but with your creativity I;m sure you could pull off something totally unique! Congrats again!
