Khan I think it's about lipsync and audio not matching. Game waits lipsync to finish. In low fps you can clearly see that. I play at 10-15 fps all time lol.

I like how one guy under the russian version wrote : "I feel like the polish singer is more sad about the situation and sings softer, while the russian feels more bitterness and sings with a stronger voice. I love how both versions are different!" I also really like how russians under this version are writing that the polish version is the best and poles under the russian version are writing that the russian version is the best. I grown up with russian language, live since years in germany, just for the background. Yes there are sometimes similarities but would be too hard to play only with, so i play with subs ger/eng. Personally, polish is for me the most authentic language to play this game with.

I can't understand one word polish but that doesn't matter. I heard this song in witcher on english the first time. I got goosebumps about 5 times. And even now hearing the polish version the first time i feel the same effect. It's perfection. Great Work CD Project!!

I have listened to this song in multiple languages and this one has the strongest hit with the right accent and the meaning. When you have read all the books, played the games and listen to this... You get what it is about and how beautiful piece of a love story Sapkowski did write.
I'm Dutch, so all you guys know my language is way to weird to even remotely understand the Slavic languages. But this sounds just so beautiful and enchanting... its the only real version now.
If u want to really feel the inside of Witcher... sadly you need to be native polish. There is some specific stuff and mentioning... language play and quirks... or maybe its just our Slavic soul talking ?

Witcher have a lot of Polsh/Slavic themes and you need to be Polish or although Slavic if you want undestand this. It`s our culture, legacy :) I am proud of being Polish. The Witcher have much other European themes but not that much like Polish/Slavic :) It`s our own culture and any German, English, American, French, Spanish or any other nation can`t understand this on 100%. Lord... I'm Russian, but the Russian version is no good compared to the Polish one... Only this version for some reason makes me cry, although the Russian version is also beautiful. I'll probably play the games on Polish with English subs but only after I'm done with Wild Hunt as I'm still on my first play through, since just about everywhere I see people praising the Polish VA in the game. Don't wanna change it now as I honestly love all the voices in English and the voice acting is excellent.

+Nightowl I Personally feel like David Hayter's Snake voice is a better comparason to Doug Cockle's Geralt voice then any Batman voice I know of. I know nothing of Polish and was making a new playthrough of the witcher games, was trying to decide if I wanted the audio to be in English, Brazilian Portuguese(my mother tongue), or Polish since it is the original language for the books so I assumed the names would be procounced correctally and for some reason that matter to me, either way I was debating hard and have chanced the dub 6 to 7 times but after hearing this song in Polish the decision is done, this is just so good.

There are a lot of good polish voice in game. Priscilla is one of the bests - even when he speak, not sing.

That strange pause between the verses really bugs me.

Yes there are sometimes similarities but would be too hard to play only with, so i play with subs ger/eng.
Personally, polish is for me the most authentic language to play this game with.

There are many similarities between Russian and Polish, but it is two very different languages. Many identical words have different meanings, and pronunciation very different too.
I am Pole that never learned Russian and I don't know what they are speaking when I have occasion to listen Russians or someone from eastern Europe.

I have listened to this song in multiple languages and this one has the strongest hit with the right accent and the meaning. When you have read all the books, played the games and listen to this... You get what it is about and how beautiful piece of a love story Sapkowski did write.

Witcher have a lot of Polsh/Slavic themes and you need to be Polish or although Slavic if you want undestand this. It`s our culture, legacy :) I am proud of being Polish. I am proud of our culure ,history, legacy. The Witcher have much other European themes but not that much like Polish/Slavic :) It`s our own culture and any German, English, American, French, Spanish or any other nation can`t understand this on 100%. We are other like Geralt. He is Witcher, We are Polish :) Different culture than European culture :)

I'll probably play the games on Polish with English subs but only after I'm done with Wild Hunt as I'm still on my first play through, since just about everywhere I see people praising the Polish VA in the game. Don't wanna change it now as I honestly love all the voices in English and the voice acting is excellent.

I know nothing of Polish and was making a new playthrough of the witcher games, was trying to decide if I wanted the audio to be in English, Brazilian Portuguese(my mother tongue), or Polish since it is the original language for the books so I assumed the names would be procounced correctally and for some reason that matter to me, either way I was debating hard and have chanced the dub 6 to 7 times but after hearing this song in Polish the decision is done, this is just so good.
