    About the National Kidney Registry:
The National Kidney Registry (www.kidneyregistry.com) is an organization whose mission is to save and improve the lives of people facing kidney failure by increasing the quality, speed, and number of living donor transplants. All living kidney donors who donate through the NKR are protected by Donor Shield, a comprehensive program designed to assist donors by making kidney donation easier and more convenient, while offering support through each step of the donation journey.

"Thank you!" Massimo for your obvious passion and compassion towards the NKR Community of persons. You ignite hope for those of us seeking cures for grasping at life (via transplant)!

Just a psa for future donors:
If you have a donation-related complication, Donor Shield might not cover you. All the hospital has to do to shirk its responsibility is utter the words "not donation related" and you're out of luck
I would still donate knowing this; I just wish they weren't so dishonest about having our backs
