Anybody else who stayed up late in the peak early hours of the morning to watch these mind blowing shows on the U.K's late Night Channel 4, WELL DONE TO Y'ALL!!😀😄🖖🖐👏👍 But it was mainly due to the fact that my Two Uncle's Danny and Stephen got me into the world of Japanese Anime and Manga entertainment was very quietly talked about in small friendly group's. miss these days and I don't regret feeling pie-eyed when I had school on the Monday morning to. hahaha!!
Exactly, Channel 4 had so many cool weird gems. I would stay up late to watch FOTNS and the D&B would give me the energy to fight through the following day of school, I had to be strong; like Kenshiro :D
Yeah, 4 later! Usually after watching Passengers then Eurotrash and then they'd be some killer anime made by Manga. This and Oedo 808 were my favourites
I grew up on this ending song but I've found appreciation for the original artists even more when I started watching sub anime in 2013. So, taking the big leap a few years ago, has broaden my horizons by quite a lot since I then moved on to reading manga which opened me up to certain stories that may never be adapted to anime. In short, I'm grateful to Japan for helping to create this phenomenal media medium that's still growing today (hopefully more for the better) and giving me childhood memories with my mother that will last a lifetime. 😌
Miss those days when I had the cable in my room at 16 I think...I caught this late night on encore and being a huge fan of anime I decided to look at the entire episode. I don't know how but I always had the ability to recognize something that was classic. I wasn't really a fan of old-school anime but I knew this show was cutting edge. Plus, the ending was great to listen too after midnight.
I always thought the English dub credits ending theme suited the show better than the original Japanese credits did. This track pretty much captures the atmosphere of the Wastelands.
@@burntreynolds1068 The original Japanese soundtrack for FotNS is god damn excellent tho, and the outro is supposed to be melacholic in the original. The song is about Yuria and thus all the visuals are a 'what we lost' with a hugely melancholic tone. This just feels tonally lost.
@@fearedjames Oh, I know. There's a possibility I've enjoyed Hokuto No Ken longer than you've been alive. You Wa Shock! is the manliest love song of all time.
As a kid, I was probably around 10-12 when all of this came out. Didn't know what DnB was but it was in animie, video games, etc. I'm glad that technology advanced so I can always come back to find stuff like this.
I would love to find the song that played in episode 10 when Kenshiro ended up in a harem with that guy called Dragon (he did the Nanto Ryujinken style). It was another DnB tune I can't seem to find ANYWHERE smh
If I had to name this, I'd call it the calm after the storm. I loved listening to this ending theme after every hectic episode of Fist Of The Northstar.
I remember this awesome theme back when I watched the show on Showtime channel- and being confused as to who that chick at the end was. Where can I get anMP3 download of this song?
Thats true, but if your hurting for some real Jungle, we still have record labels like Scientific Wax & Subtle Audio, with artists like Equinox, Nebula, Nolige, Greenleaf. Look into those 2 record labels and your sure to find something thats still got the quality, and most importantly, the "feel" of the true 90's Jungle & DnB sound. Also check out the Scientific Wax show on Jungletrain. These lot are pretty much the last hope for DnB & Jungle straight from the heart, not the commerical machine.
The United States screws up alot of times on translated anime Japanese creations but when the United States does it right it hits hard. Im sorry this theme sounds like Kenshiros story of his life in the wastelands
the intro & end credit theme songs in the japanese dub sound outdated, like a bad rendition of american funk/disco music, doesnt fit the feel of the show, The techno sounds way better
