The spiderwebs have been unusually thick and strong this year. Saw one actually make one of my chickens stop and try to find a way around it instead of just barreling through like usual.
The problem with looking at the acorns is that most people can't tell the difference between red oaks and white oaks. White oaks take 1 year to produce acorns, red oaks take 2. So all those acorns falling could just be because you have a lot of red oaks.
