I saw you at Paul Mitchell The School 2 yrs ago. I kept telling everyone how much I enjoyed your presentation I am so happy I found you on you tube. Thx for sharing
I wish that I am one of your student you are a good teacher and your way this is what I love , so please let me know if there is any way I can be taking your class in one day maybe , thank you very much for teaching us 👍👍👍
@mzsweet213 Thank you! Riccardo Altieri is a platform Artist and worked on shows all around the world. He is a great educator for cosmetology and barbering students, organizing hands-on classes all around LA.
I got to chance to meet him on one of his class...Amazing...He is really good...I’m in the business for 16 years moved from Europe to USA...still learning:)But got to say that you could do this haircut in about 15 min...without the razor...why?You used the razor first and then took the scissors at the end...all that special angels for basically nothing...with that being sad you are the best and I’m proud I had a chance to meet you👍💥💇
Does anyone know what 'blow dry serum' he used on her hair? He said it was the best he ever used but didn't say what product it is. I know this video was over 4 years ago but still am hoping for an answer and hope the product is still available. Thanks!
This guy is a hair guru! Can someone please tell me where he works , cause I want him to do my hair! All you people being negative and calling him a narcissist I feel so sorry for you. He’s how a stylist is supposed to be. It’s called high -end! I don’t want a stylist talking to me about everything, I want them to be all about my hair. I don’t care if he jerks my head around and is rough- he’s working with my hair, not my feelings. He’s not a narcissist, or full of himself. He’s just an awesome stylist that knows he’s good and is SURE of himself, being full of yourself and being SURE of yourself are two different things. Nothing is worse than someone who comes into the hair field and they’re a robot. Hair is an art, therefore the cosmetology field is ONLY for people who have an artist mindset and who are creative and think outside the box with free spirited minds, otherwise you’ll suck at it. He reminds me of my grandpa! I love his personality and he’s so funny, if he were my teacher I’d be up his butt wanting to learn everything he knows! And I know A LOT about hair! Great job sir! He has a wonderful personality AND he has great hair himself! Look at that awesome hair. When a stylist has great hair themselves that’s a good sign, if a stylist has bad hair then don’t let them touch yours! He’s free styling the heck out of this woman’s hair , basically Edward scissor handing it haha! Whoever she is she’s lucky to get him to do her hair. It looks great, what texture and movement! Whoa! This woman’s hair is gonna grow out in such an amazing shape and texture.
Do what works for you! Some people you need to take control of them or they'll control everything. This is a service profession just like any other in terms of meeting and dealing with people.
Being heavy-handed with clients in the hairdressing profession works for NO ONE. Your philosophy is a sure-fire way to lose clients. People, especially tender-headed women, don't like that shit.
You made us think that you are some Artist ... With all that gibberish to come to the end of the hair cut to go back to the basics .... 45 degree angle 90 degree angle oh well
Chryelann Mobley He kept saying funky, but this finish wasn't funky. The finish I guess helps to sell his products to these kids. I've seen some of his other cuts I liked better than this one. And although the finish was nice it wasn't appropriate for this client. The style makes her look 10-15 years older. She really is going to need to be committed to keeping this up.
Chryelann Mobley he's not wrong at all. Hairdressing isn't a universal language at all. Everyone speaks it differently. You should dare to be different yourself and don't be like everyone else. Strive to be unique and different.
One of the best educators I've seen in a long time!!!
Loved seeing you in the 80's with Matrix!! The Altieri Power Team!!!
I really like watching him do haircuts. I've learned all these techniques, and the way he uses them is so cool.
Thank you so much. I love your channel, it is the perfect wealth of information. Riccardo's videos are my favorite. Thanks again! You are awesome!
He is an amazing artist. I know I've sat in on one of his classes. The style looks amazing on her...very modern and chic.
He's awesome! I was able to see him at the Salon & Spa Expo in Long Beach this year.
Lots of techniques, excellent razor variety! Tons of passion!!! 💇💇 #highonhair 💪👍👏
Awsome hair cut, and very entertaining to watch thank you for sharing.
Great ideas., I am so enthusiastic about my next haircut, thanks Ricardo.
Thanks for watching! Here's another video by Toni Altieri and a snap shot of Riccardo.studio.ruclips.net/user/videoKabRnRm3f7U/edit

Really very nice hair cut techniques
@virgo138 He used a blow dry serum, believe me or not, it keeps the hair tamed, so it is easier to cut.
Excellent
It looked like he was being super rough on the client. I wouldn't have been pleased with that no matter how awesome the cut turned out!

nice haircut glad to see he took her short
Can you get any more recordings of Riccardo? Please and thank you! :-)
Yes, he might come and visit us again; I will get more videos then. Thanks for watching!
@SOULKhmer Thanks!
He uses their own blow dry serum: the Altiery Brother's
Where can I get his blow dry serum?
what blow dry serum does he use?

+Linda Good It is the one they packaged: the Altiery Brothers' products.
Thanks!
He's very good at cutting hair I would cry if he cut off all my hair
I so wish I had him to cut/style my hair. At my age I need a chic look. Tired of the same old drab look. I love layers and a shaggy look.

I don't get it... why they laugh ?
Looks like a layered haircut to me ! Not a bob! Took it too high!
He is so rough with the way he handled her head. Damn..

Daniel Nguyen, I agree. He's this way in all his videos. Seems like he's too used to doing cuts on doll heads.
Habla demasiado y hace poco ...OMG !
He is soooo corny!!! He’s wearing a girls tee shirt 🤣
I was not impressed with the cut, choppy is terrible for most people who do not know how to style hair. it looked lop sided in my opinion.l
he's to damn rough not cool!
