Personally, dancing solo seems incomplete and almost embarrassing unless you are very entertaining/attractive (like Monika).
No doubt you can improve as a dancer if you work on it. However, I find it more interesting and fun to be able to control another dancer. As an active male dancing with a respective female, I wish to impress my dominance and control over the dance.
I find it beneficial to just copy what other successful dancers do. It would be nice to have more videos demonstrating seductive techniques and rules.
